  1. My favorites: Printable Scenery has a line of ships (and now an airship) as well as fantasy terrain, historical terrain, and things suitable for 40k. They use an open source format called OpenLock. 2nd Dynasty for Sci-fi spaceships. It's OpenLock compatible. Archangel for modern (also OpenLock compatible). There is not a lot of modern stuff available and I was really happy to find him. My favorite free site is Thingiverse. There is tons of free stuff there.
  2. How did you come up with your 'handle' (forum name)? It's the name of one of my D&D characters. What was the first tabletop RPG you played? AD&D 1st edition. What was the first tabletop RPG you GMed? AD&D 1st Edition, then Gamma World. What are you currently playing/GMing? I run my current group with AD&D 2nd edition. We've been doing it for over 20 years. A few players looked at 3rd edition, but never made the jump. When did you start to play Hero? With the first Champions boxed set. I was talking with a friend at DunDraCon last year and it got me interested in Hero again. For the past year I've been grabbing the books and soaking up the expertise here.
  3. That sounds like a Chessex battlemap. If so, then you definitely want to use water soluble pens on it. Also, don't leave red or red based colors (brown, purple, etc.) on the map for too long or they will stain it.
