  1. Punga A massive and powerful man of Maori descent who gained his name after the God of sharks, rays and ugly creatures because his many battles left him covered in scars. He was cursed by a practioner of mākutu to be a slave to the sea. He could now breath underwater and survive the powerful depths, but when he ventured on to dry land was consumed by a horrible bloodlust. He became the leader of the Bloodtide Tribe whose members had been likewise cursed. Recruited by The Black Ocean to act as an aquatic army they have proven to be a devastating force under Punga's clever and brutal leadership.
  2. The Lechuguilla Monster A large animated mineral formation that suddenly gained life and went on a rampage. Covered by spiky gypsum deposits that seem to regenerate immediately when damaged it also spits out sulphuric acid and gas from a rudimentary mouth.
  3. Ace Argo: Ultranaut Adventurer Ace Argo sought to explore the vastness of the universe and drafted his friends and associates in the field of super science like Anton Stargrove, Raymond "Rocketman" Royale, Silvan Sark and alternate reality visitor Nikita Tesla to help him with his endeavor. They created the space ship the Argo One and equipped it with what they dubbed the Ultra Engine that in theory would propel Ace to the furthest reaches of space. The launch was a success as was the activation of the Ultra Engine. Argo travelled to distant worlds and encountered alien civilizations and had many amazing adventurers alongside new companions including the sentient color Blurple, the giantess Princess Hymika and dashing rogue Verge Xero. However an attack by the all consuming entity the Chaos Maw brought tragedy. Verge Xero sacrificed himself to allow his allies to escape, but as Ace did so the Ultra Engine was damaged and a fail safe sent him hurtling back to Earth. The Argo One and Utra Engine were damaged beyond repair. His old Earthly associates had since had their own adventures and travels and could not be brought together again. Ace has joined the Technoplex in the hopes his new teammates can someday help him find a way to return to his allies and to defeat the Chaos Maw while also countering those who would use science and technology for evil. He is equipped with a morphic shift suit that utilizes several alien technologies to grant him the power of flight, advanced life support systems, energy projection and manipulation, an advanced sensory analysis array and universal translator technology.
  4. Formless A type of sentiment protoplasm designed by the Cyrillian Configuration to then be molded into specific forms from worker drone to warrior caste. However this subject rebelled and refused to be forced into one form. Utilizing it's natural shape-shifting ability it broke free from from the facility and went on the run. Eventually crossing paths with the Overwhelmer who easily brought it under control. It now acts as the teams infiltrator and spy able to accurately shape-shift into duplicates of it's targets. Generally leaves combat to the heavy hitters, but if pressed into a corner will fight savagely to avoid capture.
  5. New Team: Fugitive Force Six alien ex-cons who have escaped prison and are on the run from various law enforcement groups/heroes in the universe. They have arrived on Earth and view it as a new opportunity for a crime spree.

  8. J is for: Jumping Jack The son of UK based supervillain Spring-heeled Jack who modified his father's spring boots to become an acrobatic wise cracking hero.
  9. Captain of the Watch Hannibal Cross was an engineer who one day was contacted by a lawyer who informed him that a distant relative in England had bequeathed him a small estate and parcel of land. Cross travelled to the UK and while looking through this relative's belongings discovered they had been a member of the Ball and Blade Society. Originally a sporting club the BBS would eventually become a group of vigilantes utilizing flintlocks and fencing to defeat criminals and protect the innocent. Cross was inspired to carry on this tradition and he created a tempered dueling blade and hi-tech flintlock and donned a suit of flexible red leather armor that was augmented with kevlar micro mesh weave underneath. His battles with the anarchic Lady Entropy and her Lords of Disorder convinced him to seek allies in his fight for justice leading to the formation of the Three Musketeers.
  10. Remnant Artemis Spencer was a psionic with the power to astral project into the dream realm. He was battling his former mentor turned nemesis Dr. Jarvis Tolliver aka the Nightmare King in the dreamscape when his physical body was destroyed leaving him trapped in his astral form. Dr. Ganesh managed to pull him into his dimension and now as the incorporeal Remnant he clashes with The Mystery.
  11. The Facilitator A former management consultant and teamwork guru who decided her skills would be more profitable in the world of supervillainy. She has assisted many criminal organizations and masterminds, generally those who don't reward perceived failure with a death ray blast or trap door to an acid pit. A monumental scheme such as the Decade of the Iron Gorilla has been a supreme challenge for her. First came the delay and then getting the unique individuals, especially those of simian nature, on the same page. Also dealing with the Sloth's sloooooow pace and Viridian Bat's own peculiar quirks...well it's been a bit of a nightmare. However she just looks at her many, many, many inspirational posters and soldiers on.
  12. Ruse She comes from an Earth were magic has been outlawed and ruled by a Puritan Theocracy. She used her mastery of illusions as part of an underground resistance. However she was caught by the Witchfinder General and sentenced to be burned at the stake. Dr. Ganesh saved her from this fate and she joins a new fight against tyranny and counters The Misery with her mystic talents.
  13. A.P.E The Advanced Primate Experiment is a Mountain Gorilla whose intelligence was raised to genius levels by Dr. Stanton Stargrove. He learned to speak and read several languages and the mastery of various sciences and engineering very quickly under Stargrove's tutelage. Unfortunately he soon developed a vast superiority complex and desire to rule over mankind. This led to clashes with Stargrove and his heroic allies Bravado, The Noble, Rubber Maiden and Tex Tornado as well as Captain Congo when A.P.E attempted to take over his home country. He joins Viridian Bat's scheme believing it will aid in his goal of domination. There have been rumors that he, Metal Guru and Grunthar have designed and constructed a giant mechanical Iron Gorilla as a part of the plan.

New Team: The Revolt Dr. Ganesh, the last hero of an alternate dimension Earth, has used his limited scientific resources to recruit six individuals to help free his planet from a tyrannical dictatorship. Standing in the way is the team of super-powered loyalists known as The Mission: The Master, a powerful psionic. The Mystery, a ghost like entity. The Mighty, a massive superstrong brute. The Miracle, a supreme martial artist. The Marvel, a mercurial speedster. The Misery, a sadistic sorceress. The heroes recruited were all pulled from different alternate realities and were chosen because they have powers that mirror the members of the Mission or abilities that can counter them.
  15. The Sinner A modern day Robin Hood who targeted a wide variety of criminals and used his charisma and charm to bamboozle them out of money and into the hands of the law. He always left a mocking calling card with a stick figure with devil horns for his targets once his schemes reached a conclusion. He crossed paths with the Gentleman who overlooked his less than legal tactics to add him to the roster of the Constables.
  16. Hundun A mystical entity and practioner of powerful chaos magic. They at one time wielded immense power and caused a huge disturbance in China that brought them into conflict with the Four Guardians. The battle with White Tiger, Azure Dragon,Vermillion Bird, and Black Tortoise left Hundun in a weakened state and they fled their homeland. Doctor Abracore offered refuge with the Hallows and Hundun accepted. Though they are slowly recovering power they are still able to use their magic to great effect. The results are always random and sometimes beneficial and other times harmful. Hundun merely seeks to keep the world weird and unpredictable and opposes any who would attempt to control, regulate or banish the mystical forces in the world.
  17. Os Olhos Abilio Ramos was a programmer working for Incite Incorporated on a state of the art telecommunications network. He would eventually discover that Incite was controlled by Portugal's most dangerous criminal mastermind The Visigoth. He also found that the program he was a part of could hack cctv security cameras, satellite imaging, cellphone and web cameras etc granting the Visigoth a huge intelligence network to aid in his schemes. Ramos managed to steal the tech and also sabotage the source material putting the research and development back years. He became a fugitive from Visigoth and was able to make contact with the rest of the team and offer his services. His skills at utilizing the tech to track down targets and to coordinate the massive amount of information that he needs to process are near superhuman. He operates form his high-tech Hub and communicates information to the other members of the team in the field.

  19. Le Fléau Magritte Valley was an artist known for her large complex installations. She lost her wife, who was a doctor, to the pandemic and was consumed by grief. This grief turned into rage with the focus being on those who refuse to follow the safety guidelines and who deny the severity of the virus. Her first victim was a politician who aggressively reopened businesses and down played the pandemic constantly. She affixed a mask to his face and locked it in place with anchor screws into his jaw. When doctors tried to remove it, an acid pack was triggered killing him horrifically. Next was the Last Party in which victims who had continued to attend social gatherings were locked in a room and had proximity explosives attached to them that were triggered if they got within six feet of each other. She continues to create these torturous scenarios as a harsh reminder and the lethal consequences to those who chose to behave with ignorance during thes. She wears a series of stylized Plague Doctor masks and ornate death themed gowns to give her an additional air of menace when addressing her victims and the public.
  20. Jäger Alexander König was once a criminal who specialized in helping fugitives escape the authorities. He was betrayed by the ruthless serial killer known as Nagel and was only sparred from death by the arrival of the hero Der Richter. Recovering from his injuries while imprisoned he vowed to reform and use the same skills he once employed to hide criminals to now find them and bring them to justice. He has been successful, but thus far his very personal hunt for Nagel continues.

  24. Not sure anyone has any interest in keeping this thread going, but i thought i would bump it up and see. I enjoy the exercise in imagination, but if no one else is interested i understand. Or maybe a change in the rules/format? I don't really have any suggestions, i just enjoyed participating. So thoughts are welcome, or we can just let this one fade away.
  25. Königstiger Arno Stieglitz loved two things, drinking and fighting. One night during a bar brawl he got carried away and killed a man. His tendency for violence was even greater inside prison walls and this brought him to the attention of the warden who ran an underground fighting ring. Stieglitz soon became the warden's best fighter and in an attempt to make him even better was given experimental enhancement drugs. They worked all too well granting him massive size growth, superhuman strength and steel hard skin. Escaping was now child's play and he became muscle for hire before bring approached by the Wehrmacht. He strikes an imposing figure on the battlefield, bald, bearded and covered in tattooes including a massive tiger on his chest.
