1. I am GMT+1, I could post in the 10am-11pm range (we would have a 9-hour difference, to you, I’m 9 hours later)

2. It’s hard to say without an explicit requirement - I could post every other day, at least, sometimes even more frequently

3. Native, but I don’t know how important “spoken” would be in a written game/campaign (:))

4. I would say 6/10 at the moment, I haven’t played Hero actively in the past few years

Thank you, I'm well aware of the technicalities and what you said in the other bullet points. While no, my handle does not make me identifiable, it is something I can't change (though I would), and it does bother me as it something I use elsewhere, too. Unfortunately, I'm also aware that this affects me differently than it affects you (and it pretty much doesn't).

So no, this is no solution for me, but if there's nothing to do, I need to give up. If I turn the question around and I ask, 'can I request the of my personal data on this site?', would it make a difference?

That is sad, as I have, in fact, had my account deleted from other forums. I receive no notifications whatsoever, that is not the problem - simply, having an account with my name on it, is. This is not solved, unfortunately, by not logging in.

What is the proper way to delete my account here on the forum? I've sent two emails through the contact form already in the past weeks but received zero reply. There's nothing wrong, I'll always be a devoted fan  of Hero, but I've always been more of a reader of the forum so I don't need to have an account, hence, I whish to have ot deleted.

Did you try the route I’ve suggested?

How about you move the .hdc files elsewhere, say, to the Downloads or the Documents to a designated folder and see what happens?

If you open the Terminal and enter: ls -hal /Users/yourusername/Desktop, what does it say?

It is also possible that the file you see on the desktop is a symlink and the original file is elsewhere. Just ideas, may be worth checking.

Oh, so no list to choose from like in the Equipment Guide..thank you, it’s good to know, I won’t look for it any longer.

Old thread, I know, sorry but it’s just my problem, too: is there no way to just select the weapons, gears and such from a list instead of having to create them? In the official sample sheets, they’re just ‘written’ on, it doesn’t seem like they were ‘created’, so this caused me quite a bit of a confusion.

It's embarrassing but I can't seem to wrap my head around this simple example..Take the one on pg. 43, Advantages for Strength:

"Example: Grond (STR 90) wants the ability to do a "Shockwave" - to slam the ground with his fists and damage anyone standing nearby. He buys that as a naked Area of Effect (Radius Explosion) Advantage for his STR, witch certain Power Modifiers:

Area of Effect (16m Surface Radius Explosion; +1/2) for up to 90 STR, Hole In The Middle (the 1m radius area Grond stands in when he uses the power;+1/4) (56 points); Can Only Be Applied To Horizontal Surfaces (-1/4), Extra Time (Full Phase, -1/2), Only Does Knockdown, Not Knockback (-0). Total cost: 32 points"

What is confusing me the Active cost, how to calculate that? In theory, the base cost for this would be 32 (32*(1+0.5+0.25)=56), but I don't understand the initial Active cost. What do I miss? And excuse me for the lame question.

Absolutely, and I’m glad it’s there for me to enjoy.

While I certainly understand many of your feelings concerning elves, dwarves and such, fantasy without them - for me, strictly - is not fantasy. Heck, I don’t even read a fantasy book without them, usually - I especially need them in a high fantasy setting, cliched or not. So that’s the other side of the coin.

I was thinking of something available now, other than your project.

On slightly another note, do you guys know of basic pregens currently available for download, for Fantasy Hero?
