    Or neither!

Many years back, I saw an interview with Siskel and Ebert. One reporter asked if they really liked each other or really hated each other.
Simultaneously, one said "Neither" and the other said "Both."

What did Neil Armstrong say when no one laughed at his moon jokes?

Watched Onward. Two brothers summon up their dad's legs and have to go on a quest to summon the rest of him.  The fight on the highway between the pixie bikers and the brothers was the best part

Finally watched Cloak and Dagger, Season 2, which I'd been putting off, as the first season struck me as mediocre at best. It was more  or less so in preparation for watching Runaways, season 3, but I have to say that I was very impressed. Season 2 took what Season 1 handed it and made it good television.

The greatest hero in the Iron Man franchise was Dr. Ho Yinsen.  Taught Tony how to be a hero and saved his life twice through brilliant surgery then by sacrificing himself.

Just finished it. I was a little annoyed that

Fun book though. And I'm very glad Battle Grounds is coming so soon.

Peace Talks, Book 16 of the Dresden Files dropped on Tuesday.

This has all the old favorites( with one exception) This book is basically a caper book set amidst family drama and some info reveals. While it is complete in itself, the fact that it an the next book, Battle Ground were planned as one book that grew too large is obvious.

Alliances will shift. Death flags will fly. Dresden will actually begin to(gasp) fight smarter. A major side villain will show a very human and vulnerable side.

The Last Titan is coming and she intends to knock humanity back to the Stone Age starting in Chicago.

Train to Busan. It was well-made from a production standpoint, but I got bored with the repetitive nature of the chase/zombie attack sequences about halfway through and fast forwarded to the highlights.
Jessica Jones. I mainlined the first three episodes last night. Everything people have said about the stellar quality is correct—I think it's a much narratively leaner (in a good way, nothing unnecessary left in) show than Daredevil, and trusts its watchers to keep up rather than repeatedly underscoring points to them.

I loved Sandman, and also the Goblin redemption arc.
I could have done without the Uncle Ben retcon, though.

I'd go with Balance of Terror or The Corbomite Maneuver, episodes that show Kirk using his substantial brainpower against ruthless foes very much like himself.

The former is a classic submarine drama in space, with the Enterprise as the destroyer trying to fight an invisible enemy, and also one of many Trek episodes to examine racism in the person of the Vulcan-hating officer obsessed with the Romulan War.

The latter pits Kirk against a mysterious, unfathomable foe of infinite bluster who, as he finds, is not what he seems.

For sheer terror factor, I'd go with The Doomsday Machine.

City on the Edge of Forever.  Any number of Sci-Fi greats wrote whole novels about time travel, but Harlan Ellison set the standards for the dangers of changing history for an entire generation.
I personally think every time travel story after that point from Quantum Leap to the Terminator owe a little something to it.

The Mask: Jim Carrey finds a magic item that turns him into a living Tex Avery cartoon character. Still a good watch. (Hulu)

2001: A Space Odyssey: The Sci-Fi classic, it looks gorgeous in 4K. (4K UHD)

Fant4stic: It couldn't decide if it wanted to be a comic book movie or body horror, and doesn't really commit to either. I watched it so you don't have to. (Disney+)

My Cousin Vinny: Two yutes from Brooklyn are accused of murder in a small Alabama town, and are defended by Vinny, who has just passed the New York Bar after 6 tries. Great movie that holds up very well. (Hulu)

Race to Witch Mountain: A muddled story mars this apparent reboot attempt of the Witch Mountain movies. This one's not that good. (Disney+)

Our third episode, "The History of DC Comics Part I" drops tomorrow! This one goes pretty in-depth - the first episode ENDS with the release of Action #1, so there's plenty of story before we even get to that. dw

Dave: A presidential double takes over after the president suffers a massive stroke. A good watch. (Hulu)

Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan: He tasks me! He tasks me! (Hulu)

The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen: Sean Connery leads the cast as Allan Quatermain, in this almost-adaptation of a graphic novel. I hadn't seen this one since it came out, and I can't say that it's aged particularly well. The last act splits up the group into a bunch of individual fights, and the pacing bogs down dramatically. (Hulu)

Ultimate Tag: Apparently, this is a series on Fox. Six contestants face off against each other and "professional taggers" in a series of mini-games. I get a "Fuzion Frenzy" vibe to the whole thing, and the pro taggers are themed like on American Gladiators. The show seems to favor parkour and freerunners, as there's lots of stuff to flip over/jump onto on the various courses. (Hulu)
