  1. I admit to doing this exact thing, but rather than subject my GM to it I saved it to use for a villain in my campaign. Due to skilled use of held actions and triggered defensive powers I had the pc's convinced he had 12 SPD (really it was 7 when the average PC was 5), and that was one of the villains that convinced me that villains must be built on significantly less points than the pc's to avoid overwhelming them.
  2. Does it specify that you are supposed to pronounce the acronym 'Face-Rip', and make a gesture like Nicholas Cage does in Face Off when he's describing the surgery?
  3. I like the idea of long snakes emblazoned on the arms ending at the hands. Obviously done by someone with more time and ability. And maybe the other end culminates in a belt?
  4. I always enjoyed Piers Anthony's work, and the Adept series (where each spell must be cast on the fly and can never be repeated) was my first introduction to it.
  5. How much money would you have to pay someone to be a guard in the prison where Deadshot is held captive?
  6. No noticeable super powers yet.
  7. My brothers and I made a little comic where everything was labeled that way. 'Car', 'tree', 'boy', etc. The winner was 'Rubbers'.
  8. Definitely join the HERO-Champions-RPG Discord as well.
  9. In Fred or before I use EC's on most characters except MA's. I usually only use MP's if squeezed for points with an extra large number of attack powers or related effects. I am pathologically opposed to spending END on my primary movement power. Few things annoy me as much as the 'speedster' that can only run at full speed for 2 turns.
  10. Skorts is the word you're seeking.
  11. Speedster is easily the most abusive character concept. High offensive and defensive CV's, lots of movement, lots of damage dealing, good justification for being difficult to detect or damage, and of course, high SPD. Move by's with high OCV can be especially problematic, as speedsters can quite often do Multiple Move by's on the same or different targets, knock them down and then run completely out of sight around the corner of the building. If the speedsters damage classes aren't capped well below everyone elses the other team members will just be mopping up after speedy boi zooms in and knocks everyone down and then runs out of harms way, only to do it again before the other characters even move. Probably the single greatest sfx description I ever heard came from a speedster player. 'Can I run up to him and hit him?' 'Sure, he's in sight' 'I'll fire my PD Energy Blast at him. The sfx is I run up and hit him and then run right back here so fast he can't react' '........'
  12. They seem more like plot devices so actual stats seem irrelevant.
  13. We have been trying to get our mortgage refinanced for several months now. Both my wife and I have 725+ credit scores (hers hovers around 800) We've made 13 mortgage payments a year since inception, so a lot of bonus principal paid off She's had the same job for 10 years, whereas I switched to being self employed 4 years ago, a year after first getting the mortgage We have reasonably substantial retirement savings Our home value has increased by over 20% Admittedly, I treat my company as more of a 'gig' than a job, as it allows me to spend lots of time with my 3 kids 11,8, and 1, but I still paid myself 20k in salary last year What the heck is wrong with Wells Fargo?
  14. Can't find the characters on the Roll20 site, they're in the convention tab on discord?
  15. Is this game still happening and in need of players?
