  1. Re: List Your CO Heroes!

Well we have our first duplication. I also have a Cold Front.

    Mine are:

    Cold Front

    Raven

    Volt

    Brimstone

Did you also give him cold powers?

If so, you are a total rip off artist and I demand that you put space between "Cold" and "Front"... oh wait. Nevermid.

Good name Mojo! You are repped.

  2. Re: Captain America and Cast

I saw the overalls and see your logic there, but I'd still give Cap a 15- on PER rolls. That's just me. Correct me if I'm wrong as I'm not a rules-guy, but if he was using those levels to help with another skill at that moment (i.e. acrobatics or combat driving) wouldn't they be unavailable?

I'd also add a couple points of LS, as he's immune to some poisons and diseases.

  3. Re: Captain America and Cast

I like the build. A couple of comments/ questions:

    * INT of 13 seems low to me

    * His perception should be upped from 12-

    * Tactics of 12- seems light

    * I'm guessing that's a placeholder on Powers or am I wrong? If I am shouldn't he have missile deflection and and an EB for his Shield?

    * To save you the point Brooklyn is part of NYC, AK for NYC should cover you there

  4. Re: Watchmen: A GM's tale...or why we set campaign limits

dc comics and mayfair games did a watchmen adventure for the dc comics role playing game i used to own a copy it had the pc gatered for a mission by capt metropolis who unknown to the others was behind the whole thing

It took place shortly after the failed Crimebusters meeting.

I ran it and while the adventure was stilted, it was pretty cool when one of my players, (the one who played the Comedian) totally saw through the surprise ending from the get go, bit his tongue for 90 minutes and then let Captain Metropolis have it at the end.

If I remember, Dr. Manhattan was an NPC, but they did include his write-up. I still have a DC Heroes to Champions converter in some old Adventurers Club somewhere. It might be interesting to see that build.

  5. Re: Nothing can stop me now!

I have found that more times than not, teams aren't always built with the best balance and the arch-villain is the best time to make them pay. Whether its by mental attacks, a high speed or attacking at range there's one or two holes that every team has that can be exploited for fun and profit.
