Would you expect anything else from some organization that has hours to kill (this can include the creators, readers,  and all others)?

I believe that WOTC has made many positive changes to the system.  Opening character creation for more diversity,  creating greater noncombat opportunities,  streamlining combat are all positive in my opinion.  However,  since they are making it so that one can only get (and play) through their approved media might be such a strong negative that it could drive players toward other games (non-WOTC) effectively destroying their product.

What I'm expecting is a repeat of 2016. The common electorate will grant him something between 10-20% of the vote.  Then the powers behind the scenes will come in and determine that we did not know what we were doing and recast the election,  giving him over 50%, WAY  more than is needed to claim the nomination. (I was surprised that this didn't happen in 2020.)

Humanity being the wonderful creature we are love any reason that we can obtain to celebrate.  Among the greatest of these reasons is holidays.  There are many reasons for such days,  ranging from simple people decided to mark this day special for some lost reason (traditional excuses) to more complex examples involving a conglomeration of different groups that are intermingled together.  This could include the extended continuation of some one-time event.  While most of the time fantasy campaigns will essentially use RL holidays and reskin them in some form,  this doesn't need to be the case.  I would like to hear about some of the celebrations/holidays that have been created for your world.  Are they regional, worldwide,  religious,  secular,  something else? Anything else that you would like to mention about them would be greatly appreciated. 

My name truly is Asperlis Quintillion,  though most know me by my more common monacure  - Asp. I don't perform anything fancy,  just maintain the place's foodstuffs,  treasury,  similar items.  While I don't have any fancy combat abilities,  if I sense that anything is off with what I am guarding,  I get in a state that even most goliaths hate dealing with. 

Here's a fun exercise for our gamification pleasure.  One person will state some race, class,  archetype,  or essentially anything else that they desire for the next person to describe.  However,  it cannot be used in the traditional manner,  there needs to be something that is different from conventional manner. For example,  a taboxoxi could be written up as some form of demon-sprung warrior.

Go ahead and repeat.  Even if something has been done before,  there is still room for something new to be introduced (look at the Superman clone Homelander). I don't care how diligent your clone is to the original, changes will appear from the setting,  material,  sources,  evolution,  or many other places that the clone will be working from that the original most likely will never discover. 

I have always believed that the gm should always start character generation (especially session zero) with the campaign background.  This allows the players to work together and create characters that only require minor tweaks. It works against the wild characters (such as putting Flash into a dnd game). Most likely the gm in the above case came from some system where all the prelim work was done by "pthers" and and assumed that all games work the same way.

Since my wife has photoshopbic grand mall epilepsy and PTSB, I can testify that this is a great time. Black out curtains are a wonderful creation, noise canceling devices don't work like marketed.

For the second complication,  I would go for a simple solution.

This could be adjusted to suit the need of the character and how much the armor actually consumes.

When I discovered Champions,  I was big in FASERIP and other systems similar to that.  I was also realizing that universal systems exist.  As a result,  I most likely would have gone for GURPS, M&M, Fate, or some other universal. I was introduced to gaming through DnD, but had many problems with the strong rigidity and how everything was laid out (plus I have a preference towards supers and sf).

Darkside is attempting to make another push for gaining absolute mastery over everything. He has been able to get the JL out of the way (easier than he expected) and now onto the next stage.  Here he discovered someone that he didn't expect. 
 
Queen Beryl was busy planning her next move against those Guardians when suddenly a mysterious portal opens outside her realm.  Wondering who would make such an affront into her territory,  she (with some minions) goes to investigate.  At this point, she finds a strange guy who seems to be made of something unusual. Beryl attempts to tell him to leave,  only to have him act as though she is beneath him.  Insulted by this,  she lashes out with several minor attacks to tell him to leave.  
 
Right after Darkside exited his portal,  he realized that he ended up someplace other than where he ment to. Not long afterward,  a mysterious woman with red hair leading several others approached him demanding that he leave.  Darkside being who he is (unusual for him) simply chose to ignore her threats until she lashed out with some attacks that were designed to get his attention.  She wants attention,  she will have it and gives her a low powered Omega Blast (at least low powered for the likes of Superman).  
 
Shortly after Beryl used her attention grabbing attacks,  this stranger hit her with some strange blast from his eyes that were of the nature that she had never felt before.  Beryl responded by having her minions attacking this stranger (he swatted them aside like they were flies) and turned his attention to Beryl.  After that,  he decided to attack Beryl.  
 
Getting tired of this back and forth,  Darkseid (especially after she sent her minions for the slaughter), had decided to end things finally.  He went for her at a speed that seemed to surprise her and hit her with his high strength that she was not able to strike back on until she was at least unconscious if not dead.
