  1. It is also the case that I can drop HD6.jar build 20190210 into the same, non-working, unzipped and run once directory of build 202001020, and print-to-pdf works without issue.
  2. Simon, To restate what I checked, I also find your mentioning "other files and APIs" a curious statement as the current release is a single JAR, two hde files, a PDF, and some images when initially unzipped. I does create some new directories when HD6.jar first runs, in particular a "resources" directory, but the file contents in my old installation location and the fresh installation location have the same checksums for all of the files I checked.
  3. There is definitely something broken between older versions and the most recent version. I recently downloaded the current version a few days ago, and tried to use the Print to PDF function. I pulled the HD6.jar out of the zip file, and put it into the existing install location. It doesn't work. Without changing anything else, I replaced the newer version of HD6.jar (build 202001020) with an older version (build 20190210). It works perfectly. I also tried unzipping the new version into a new location, where I have free read/write access, and tried printing to a file, to a location to which I also have free read/write access. That doesn't work either. trace-20190210.txt trace-20200210.txt
  4. Re: multi power or sweep/two weapon fighting? In a FH campaign, you generally pay points to buy skills that let you use weapons in various ways. You get the weapons "for free", for gold, mugged from a guard, or wherever. MPA would only apply to powers for which you payed points which is how your super hero has a sword in a Champions game. Note that MPA also requires that you have more than one attack power to use at the same time, e.g. you payed points for two swords. Sweeping is available in either genre, but TWF seems to be a kind of specialized sweep that requires two separate weapons. It's certainly written up that way. The two "weapons" can be be anything your character could wield. They don't have to use the same maneuvers either though each uses it's own OCV and you ending up with the worst DCV. It also uses the whole phase unless you also buy a Rapid Attack skill too. The main difference from a Sweep is that a Sweep uses one kind of attack multiple times. The overlap between TWF, sweep, and MPA is annoying. In some ways, you're better off building a Naked Advantage Autofire with some limitations for the number of points you end up spending along with the DCV and phase penalties.
  5. Desired effect: Cast a time-consuming blessing (Constant power) before combat. Blessing has a fixed duration. Blessing activates at the start of actual combat. No predetermined limit on number of times case per day. Is there a typical way to build this in terms of the advantages and limitations? Since the mechanical effect is a Constant power, it seems to require an arrangement of Delayed-Effect, Trigger, and Uncontrolled. (And Extra-time obviously.) If were an Instant power, it seems like Lingering and Trigger would be sufficient.
