Well, he used as a weapon and it really happened so I guess it makes sense.
P.S.  I read that sentence and it seemed a little wise-ass, but that was just the logic chain I went through.

When my kids were much younger, we took a road trip.  My daughter had just learned that joke, and was telling it to her brother.

After about the twenty-somethingth banana, my son tapped my shoulder and said "knock-knock."

"who's there?". (dammit!  You've been sucked in!)

"Let me in quick!  There's a million bananas in my yard!"

Eh.  Maybe you had to be there....

I voted 'cool but needs work' because I find it to be wholly mechanical -- without concrete examples of what this looks like, story-wise.  Getting up from knockback … is common sense; people know what that tends to look like, regardless of whether it's a Brick clambering to his/her feet … or a Ninja doing that thing to go from his/her back to his feet (possibly using Breakfall).  But what does helping someone recover from being stunned look like; can we get some examples … so that we can better understand why it takes time … and so that new GM's can readily understand the intent (thereby allowing them to give derivative descriptions)?

Verizon gave out a free year to all of their customers with unlimited data, I paid in advance for two years and got a third year for free when they did a sale a month or so ago.

I am covered for the next four years of Disney+ content releases.

    Back to School (1986)

Rodney Dangerfield, then best known for his standup routines, plays middle-aged retail men's wear magnate Thornton Melon. His father, a immigrant tailor, had wanted him to go to college, but he loved tailoring and chose that route into wealth and fame. Now his own son is off to college and having trouble, so he follows him to his university to help him out and reluctantly enrolls as a freshman. Comedy ensues as his real-world experience collides with the theories of an arrogant business professor.

This is a classic fish-out-of-water comedy. There are numerous lovely set-pieces -- Melon sending his secretary to take notes in class when business calls him away, showing surprising skill as a diver, and a closing scene where he addresses the entire student body at graduation. Dangerfield, at the peak of his fame and comedic talent, is really, really good in it.

Streaming services would be great if there were ONE, with all content (at least all that a particular viewer were interested in), for less than what cable costs.

When there are a dozen streaming services, and a viewer's desired content is spread across them all, and their aggregate cost is the same or greater than a cable subscription . . . welp, we're right back to pirating being the optimal solution.

I would like to nominate my favorite romantic comedy: Much Ado About Nothing.

Kenneth Branagh and Emma Thompson are amazing, naturally. Denzel Washington does a fantastic job in an unexpected role. Michael Keaton is hilarious as the dim-witted constable. Even Keanu Reeves stepped up his game and gave a good performance. And Patrick Doyle's music was amazing.

No argument, Pariah; but close behind those, I would put Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes. Sadly only ran for two seasons, to be replaced by the more MCU-inspired but also more simplistic Avengers Assemble.

Among its many accomplishments, A:EMH gave us IMHO the best animated rendition of Dr. Doom:

Justice League and Justice League Unlimited. Arguably the gold standard for animated superhero adventures (at least in television; in movies, the would be The Incredibles). Simple, powerful visuals, compelling stories, witty writing with plenty of parental bonuses, and stellar voice acting. The first two seasons featuring the core seven, are rife with complex storylines and character development. The final two seasons have Jeffrey Combs as The Question. Enough said.
