  1. Re: What do you really think of Champions Online? Tried it didnt care for but then didnt care for CoX either didnt feel enough like champions to me but then neither does the new edition of champs pnp. Now character creation for Champs on line is fun though but not worth paying any money for.
  2. Re: What Are You Listening To Right Now? if your gonna listen to kung fu fighting you need to listen to the good version
  3. Re: What Are You Listening To Right Now? Well not really I like to listen the game I am playing when I am playing but here is some stuff I have been listening to while doing school work http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IYI8L3aDhtA http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Omc68axI2SU&feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IFSGQ9SMoqo&feature=related those were in romanian as is my spouse stuff from when I was a little kid
  4. Re: Lunar Cave Discovered Thats pretty cool
  5. Re: And 6e print books start to arrive I am very happy for the fans of 6th that they are getting their books:thumbup: Me I am happy I may soon be getting my replacement copy of 4th a guy says he wil get me one to trade for my copy of TOEE Everybody wins.
  6. Re: Cryptic to develop Neverwinter Nights MMO? Its not really free its a hybrid and many of the new people trying the slightly limited free to play option are switching to subs to buy off those restricitions and many players such as myself are still subscribing and have been for over three years, yeah the microtransations are helping turbine out but they set those up in such a manner to encourage people to sub rather then do microtransactions.
  7. Re: Cryptic to develop Neverwinter Nights MMO? Yes I am hugely disapointed with their champions game didnt feel like playing champs even mildy to me so even though I was looking forward to STO I will not preorder it for sure.

  9. Re: Cryptic to develop Neverwinter Nights MMO? I have to applogize I didnt read this before I chastised you in my other post. so sorry:(
  10. Re: Cryptic to develop Neverwinter Nights MMO? While I am rooting for Turbine Atari is counter suing
  11. Re: Cryptic to develop Neverwinter Nights MMO? Actually they are a hybrid of free to play and subs. Free to play has some limits on what they can access(can buy more through microtransaction) number of character slots and a little restircted on races and classes as well as limits on auction house and tells, and no shared bank, they can buy all of these off either with cash or earned game points(would take a long time to buy off all for free) while subscription players have no limits on tells and more character slots. I would recomend any who hasnt played to at least check out the free to play option.
  12. Re: Cryptic to develop Neverwinter Nights MMO? You need to get some of your facts straight one the big problems with ddo was Atari didnt promote or market it like they should most likely it seems now that they were planning on coming out with their own game and didnt want to boost a competing game and its one of the reasons turbine is suing them.
  13. Re: Top 5 Favorite 5E Supplements Hmm only one I still have is the Ultimate martial artist I did like that book. still a bigger fan of 4th editon and if I can ever replace my lost book I will run champs again my fave supplement from that was the 4th edtion VIPER book always liked Scott Bennie's work and enjoyed playing with Cliff in the past, but my fave stuff always by scott b and scott h. No offense Steve. Wasnt a fan of 5th edtion as it seem the point scaling seem to rise abit from 4th.
  14. Re: Top 5 Champs books of all time Yeah I like your list to and yes to your viper book choice I dont like the 5th ed one and didnt see the need for one for me I like Scott and Cliff's work wish they had done more
  15. Re: Which Champion are you I am grond.
  16. Re: And the old shall swallow the new... Not a huge comercial success no but I have been playing for over 3 years and I have never ever seen it at 5 players on any server at any time. I dont think I have ever seen less then 100 players on any server at any time of course none of them maybe running something that I want but at least just running around in ddo is more fun the playing a raid or quest in wow. I dont have high hopes for CO for one reason its not really champions to me its not using champions rules just set in the universie although I do like that world though, I hope it surprises me and is good but I am afraid that for good champs play the only way is to sit down and play with rl people.
  17. Re: And the old shall swallow the new... Completely and utterly false game is great and closer to dnd then what CO will be to true champions, CO might be a good game but it will really only be champions in name at least ddo is 60-80% 3.5 dnd.
  18. Re: 4th edition support Thanks for the information you and LL have been most helpful, I dont find 5th cleaner or classier but thats my personal choice not saying anyone else is wrong but thanks again for the help
  19. Re: 4th edition support Thanks so much this should be a big help and I remember the red october board didnt have internet access for it but my brother-inlaw at the time did and he would put all that he thought I would be interested in on disk so I could access it later, sadly all the info was on my amiga's hard drive when it died. No there isnt to much in 5E I care for I like the 4th ed viper book better then the newer one for example but keeping my eye on things here to see if 6th is going to be good for what I want but as things stand I will proably stick with 4th but not saying 100% yet.
  20. Re: 4th edition support
