A simple three column 5th Edition HTML export template for Hero Designer. Template architecture: Uses external CSS files to handle all styling of the character sheet. Uses CSS Flex Box to handle columns and also seems to prevent text lines from being split in half when printing. Includes a standard normalize CSS external file that should make the character sheet display the same way in different browsers. HTML export file contains only the data itself and formatted into easily identifiable sections. Page breaks for new pages are handled correctly for printing. The benefit of this architecture makes modifying this template fairly easy. Add or remove sections. Change styles without modifying the HTML file. I built this as a request. Feel free to contact me in the forums if you have any question about architecture or how to modify it. - Christopher Mullins-

An enemy/obstacle for any Pulp Hero or Horror Hero campaigns where the PCs are likely to do a "dungeon crawl" through the lost catacombs of Egypt or the like. Fans of the original 1986 Thundercats cartoon will recognize it as being similar to something that was found in Mumm-Ra's pyramid in one episode. Built as an Automation on 1500 points. 5th Edition write-up. Two-column layout.-

This may have been discussed before but, since nothing came up when I searched, here's something I've been pondering: At this point I think it's fair to say that we are not going to see 6E versions of, say, Lucha Libre Hero or Dark Champions. The economics clearly aren't in favour. In many cases, though, the parts of the 5E books requiring an update are not the bulk of the volume, so they still work as excellent sourcebooks if you don't mind doing a bit of work on the numbers. With that in mind, what about producing update PDFs for older books specifically to bring them in line with the current edition? There's no rewriting, reformatting and reprinting of the originals involved, simply a downloadable document providing updated stats etc. I can't think of an easier way to make old stock relevant again and to open up earlier material for people who aren't really in a position to rejig everything themselves. Does that sound like a reasonable idea, something worth pursuing?

Hey Guys! I know some of you well enough to realize you have all of this and more... but the time has come to go from two bookshelves of HERO goodness down to one bookshelf. Growing son + small apartment is the cause... otherwise I'd find a way to hang on to these. Even if you aren't interested, please pass along the auctions to any interested parties. I've put them into Lots by edition/genre. Not looking to get rich... just creating room and hoping for funds for the holiday season! In any case, thanks for having a look! I'm looking for two good 5th Edition Champions character sheets that are fillable ones with no calculations or other "aids". The first is just a standard sheet for a Champions character that is fillable The second is a stripped sheet that has zero, none, no points or multiples on the sheet. Just the end values needed for actual play. A very no frills sheet. Anyone know of any? All of the forum threads I could located were archived and the attachment links were broken. Thanks in advance

Hive-Mind, I have a group of bad guys who distribute suits of leather armor as a recruitment tool. The pitch is, join us, you get this armor, you get super strong and tough, and immortal. The truth is, there is a demon bound in the armor who influences the wearer. Strength and toughness are conferred, but the wearer's psyche / soul is eventually completely subverted by the demon. Separating the armor from the wearer is typically fatal to the wearer and releases the demon to its home plane. This is easy as pie in a system where you don't really have to define anything (dnd, RoleMaster), but I'm having some trouble, and don't want to fall back to, "I'm the gM, and that's how I say it works" Is this a package deal?

5th edition fantasy, I cannot find where the rules state what happens to equipment / clothing when a character uses multiform... Can anyone help with a game-approved answer?

How do you go about designing a damage shield (I get no results on a search of the forums with that term), that is to say, a 'force field' that damages anyone who touches it? I used to know how to do this in Champions 4th (I think it was a power offshoot of energy blast).

So, Fantasy HERO 5th Edition / HERO Designer... There's a potion that increases STR. This is an Aid Power with extended time, but, What skill / power would you use to create a magic potion like this?

Hey, Long time HERO GM and player. I always find myself running Super Hero games and rarely getting to play in them. Right now my bi-monthly gaming group is devoted to D&D 5th edition right now and we will soon take PF2 for a spin this August. So I would love to join a game HERO Champions game. I have Hero Designer. I have 5th and 6th Edition books. I have the desire and motivation to play in a game. A little about me: 9 to 5 Jobber Husband and Father Avid Reader of Comic Books, Fantasy and a smattering of Sci-Fi I live on the East Coast in the US Thank you, LA Singletary

When I try and click on File > New Character > 5th Edition Rules > Heroic it doesn't open up anything. The only thing I can click on to open/start a new character is New Character > Current Template which opens up 6th edition rules by default. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm running build 20171119.

This is the Hero System Universe Timeline written by Steven S. Long and based on work by Steve Peterson and Steven S. Long. I found this online and noticed that it was not available here. It is a 4 page high level brief description of the significant events in the Hero System Timeline from 100,000 BC (before the Turakian Age) through the year 3000 A.D...It was written for 5th edition but it is version agnostic.-
