  1. I think there's a fair amount of interest in seeing old, out-of-print Champions adventures being re-released in 6th edition with some new art, updating to modern day, etc. These are from adventures that I own, there are others which people might want to see rebooted. I don't want to redo To Serve and Protect personally, I think that should be done by Scott Heine.
  2. Greeting all. Player / GM in Ontario, Canada looking for a group for on-line play. Sounds like half a Craigslist ad! Anyway, old school Champs player looking to reconnect. Respond here and let's talk! -Sean
  3. Here are my character write-ups for AC Comics' Ms. Victory, featuring the original (Joan Wayne) and her daughter who was her temporary replacement (Jennifer Burke). Both are roughly each other's equal in power levels at 400 points. In the few times I brought them to a game convention, players who had heard of Ms. Victory used her for the scenario (the original was generally preferred since she could fly). The Hero Designer Files and character sheets in Microsoft Word and Adobe PDF are included in the Zip file. Ms. Victory (Wayne and Burke) Enjoy! 😉

  6. I ask as I haven't found one either here or at drivethrurpg, though maybe I just failz @searching. I can find the PDF that says '#450' on the cover and #400 on the inside but I already own that one in dead-tree and pdf. I'd like to get a new copy of the 'revised/451' edition as my old book is really showing it's age now. So I'm specifically the 'Product Code 451' version which, according to RPGG has a bit of re-formatting, art and layout. https://www.rpggeek.com/rpgitemversion/5177/deluxe-printing This deluxe edition of the Big Blue Book differs from the standard

Here is an Excel-based Combat Record Sheet for 4th edition--didn't see one currently in the downloads. I reopened my Champions folder from the '90's and was motivated to work on a throwback 4th edition game on Roll20 for a charity fundraiser to fight COVID-19. The embedded formulae calculate and place Phases in the appropriate Segments of the Speed column based on the Speed Chart on p.139 of the Big Blue Book (BBB). For example, if Mindlock has a SPD of 5, the spreadsheet automatically populates action Phases for her in segments 3, 5, 8, and 10-12. I included other examples from sa

As I read over my Champions official setting source books (for the "Champions Universe"), I was struck by the range of activities the criminal high-tech corporation ARGENT is involved in around the world -- how many pies it has its fingers in, and how viciously it digs into them. But from comments I've heard over the years, most Champions players who don't have those books don't fully appreciate what ARGENT is capable of, nor the range of uses it can be put to for villainous plots, as well as character origins and backstory. In part this is due to there being no source book dedicated to that m

This is an archive Lemming uploaded nearly a decade ago. He's not been on in over a year and since folk have been asking about character outlines. I thought that I would upload some of the ones that I have. Here's what Lemming has to say about this archive: From the ReadMe. ----- 268 different outlines. These were produced mainly from comics by Sam Bell, Don Satow, and myself. Each outline used to live on a page with several other outlines hence the odd numbering scheme. I scanned them in a few years ago and recently seperated the rest, indexed to 1 bit and left the background trans

This is the Hero System Universe Timeline written by Steven S. Long and based on work by Steve Peterson and Steven S. Long. I found this online and noticed that it was not available here. It is a 4 page high level brief description of the significant events in the Hero System Timeline from 100,000 BC (before the Turakian Age) through the year 3000 A.D...It was written for 5th edition but it is version agnostic.

As I read the Champions Villains trilogy, I was struck by the strong similarities in background, motivation, and personality among several of the solo villains from Volume 3, and how bringing them together would create a formidable, versatile team with a strong unifying theme. Exploring all the ways I could use them in a game, I realized they could add a lot to almost any four-color-style superhero campaign, so I thought some of my fellow Champions gamers might also be able to use the concept. Gaia's Wrath are a group of extreme eco-terrorists, all with a nature/elemental motif, who believ

This is a fairly complex write up for all of the capabilities and functions of the modern Smart Phone. Strictly speaking, the construct is not legal by the rules as written because it places special powers in a power framework. Ask your GM for permission before purchasing this equipment for your character.

There was a request to create a simplified character sheet suitable for new players. For this first effort I chose to stick with a basic portrait layout and use some colors to This three-page HTML character sheet introduces new players to the HERO system by presenting only the elements they need to start playing quickly. This template assumes someone with more experience will create or enter character information for the player in Hero Designer. The Fifth Edition version of Champions Universe first mentioned an intriguing-sounding location on CU Earth, called the Valley of Night. (The reference has since been reprinted in the 6E update to that book.) Few details about it were ever published, and there are no plans on the part of Hero Games to expand on them. However, I was inspired by that reference, and other elements from the official setting, to develop the Valley of Night for my own Champions campaign. Thinking that other gamers might find a use for them, I posted my (rather extensive) notes to the Hero Games discussion forums --

This character export sheet looks different than the plain black and white sheets. It is styled to match the colours of the rule books and is done in a fun highly legible style. It has the functionality of the default character sheet, but has the following differences: Collates all combat information including Attack Powers, Defense Powers, Sensory Powers, Equipment and Martial Maneuvers in a special page block. 5E HTML Superhero Character Sheet This template (created in February 2014, by lou_tennant (aka David Dobson)) is based on the 6E Ultimate CS (uploaded by Hyper-man, originated by desaturated - which was based on a file by Dan Simon). This character sheet looks very different from the plain black and white sheets. I have adjusted the colours and elements of the layout - including reducing it from four sections to two sections. I have removed and simplified certain areas to focus on a Super-heroic/Champions style of game. So things like Hit Locations and the Combat Manoeuvres charts
