Hello Herodom, As the title says, help me to understand how to add DC to advantages Powers particularly weapons in Heroic. My group never really use these rules but I would like to learn these now. Btw I’m using 6th. Now understand the basics such as how to add DC from STR min to unadvantaged Powers. I.e if my guard has 13 STR and is wielding a dagger STR min 8 1D6-1 (2DC) he can add 1 DC to increase for a total of 1D6 (3DC). Now if the dagger is AP can he add any DC? Add how much if the guardsman has 15 STR?

I'm sorry if this is a very basic question, but I am trying to build an archer-type hero and having trouble wrapping my head around how martial maneuvers work with weapons, particularly ranged weapons. Lets say I have the Offensive Ranged Disarm maneuver with the weapon element "Bows." But is my bow just whatever power I have identified with that Focus? I built my archer with a multipower, following the example of Arrowhead, but am I really allowed to apply martial maneuvers to any of my specialty arrows, or does it have to be an unmodified blast? Or are stats given somewhere for "a bow" that I need to follow to have access to the maneuvers? Again, sorry if this question is just wrong-headed, I feel like I missed something fundamental in reading the martial arts section of the book. It seems like applying maneuvers to these powers is really strong for the points cost so I feel like I have to be missing some passage that explains how it wouldn't work like that.

Ok folks on another thread people debated multiple attack versus combined attack. Since I’m now using CC, combined attack is one area that could have used some more words. I think I have the gist of multiple attack whereas it was Sweep under the old rules with multiple move bys rolled together. However combined attack? One thing that confuses me is that under multiple attack, if the power uses strike maneuver, then it’s a combined attack however isn’t move by considered a form of Strike maneuver?
