Hello, I want to make sure I'm understanding the 6e RAW regarding a character with his own attack powers (Blast and RKA) and how those interact with the Ranged Martial Arts maneuvers from the Martial Arts book. As built, he has a Multipower with (among other things), two attacks. In addition to that, I bought him the "Offensive Shot" and "Quick Shot" maneuvers (among others). As I understand it, I don't need to buy anything else to be able to use either maneuver with either attack power, yes? And as a Ranged Martial Artist (having Breakfall as well as a KS for the MA style, and 17 pts in maneuvers), I can purchase additional Martial Damage Classes - and those also would be useable with either attack power like the maneuvers? Thanks!
Got a question because I am certainly coming along with the rules, but learning them and really knowing them are often different. I should probably mention we are using 5th Edition (but I am happy to hear 6th Edition answers also, just let me know ). I've got a character with Ambidexterity and Two Weapon Fighting that wants to use the Spreading rules when performing a ranged attack against a single character. She wants to Rapid Fire for 3 attacks, using her 2-weapon fighting to deliver those three attacks at -0OCV, -0OCV and -2OCV. If she is fighting using Rapid Fire against a single target, am I correct that she can give up a strength DC to get a bonus to OCV, netting me +1OCV +1OCV, and -1OCV respectively? What CSLs and such can really buff this out? If this character gets all crazy with the 1d6-1 small stars (shuriken, Autofire 5), what else should this character do (aside from Rapid Autofire for 5pts) to similarly get this dialed in properly?
Hey guys, I'm a few years and 2 editions removed from the game I'm looking to get into within the next week. I've been out of the game (literally) for a little while, so I was hoping to get some feedback on what are the skills/talents most important to making the best shooter possible. Thanks in advance
