LotH
It's been a long time since I've figured a character without a program so could someone explain exactly how to work the discount in an EC? I have a 50 point EC. The power has a total of 2 1/4 advantages and a .875(odd gm discretion thing a 1/2 and a 3/8) limiter on a 65 point power. My math is seriously coming out weird. Can someone help, please?

Wouldn't it be 65(1+2.25)=211.25=211? Then would I figure the EC discount making it 161? Then the limiters work off of the 161?

That would be my mind refusing to accept that +2.25 on a Power really happens... yes. 161/1.85 is the *correct* calculation.
