Over at the Adept Press blog, veteran game designer Ron Edwards has been writing extensively about Champions: specifically, undertaking a comparison of first-generation Champions (1st-3rd and key supplements) and GURPS Supers (1st edition). In doing so he's been illuminating core, relevant concerns for play and design, some of which have been sitting mainly ignored for decades. It's definitely worth going over there to have a look at such articles as Exhumed, but still lovely my dear, Very Special Effects, and Being, having, and nothingness if you have not already done so.
