i've recently begun running an all mutant campaign and this afternoon we had a character get killed. since the tone of the game is fairly dark, she's going to stay dead. the player will have to make a new character, and the old one will serve as the "Cypher/Thunderbird" of our team. in the event ANY character returns from the dead there needs to be a foolproof reason for this; ie:deal with a demon, cloning. but its doubtful i'll allow any returns, because i'm going for reality, and in real life you only get one chance.

thanks for the tips. i think i'm going to use MP/EC builds because i am being fairly liberal with the character's power builds. but i'm also building villans based on the PCs builds... . so as powerful as the PCs may be or become there will always be a villan with matching or greater power levels, willing to use them in malicious ways. and i wanted to use based on con because most psi-powers in comics are only as effective as the charcater is healthy. i've never seen jean grey mind blast someone when she had the flu

I'm a new GM and one of my players is trying to built a multipsi character with telepathy, pyrokinesis,telekinesis, and teleportation. I cannot figure out for the life of me how to economize points or to get each slot within his multipower based on ECV and CON(at least for his telepathy and TK). Can somone give me some pointers?

Frozien should be fusion. the manuever is called Emerald fusion.

the virtures are great. they can be used in a religious hero campaign or even as overzealous anti- heros. i think i might use them for a scenario or two in my campaign.

I'm Looking More For Unusual Powers. It Gets Kind Of Boring Playing And Reading About The Same Type Of Characters Over And Over Again. I'm Trying To Come Up With Something Unique Like Spiderman Was When He Was Created.

I'm Trying To Build A New Type Of Hero And Would Like Some Suggestions. I Don't Want Anything Typical, Yet Nothing Lame Either. Any Ideas Would Be Beneficial.

I PICKED ALL X CHARACTERS BECAUSE THEY ARE THE ONES I'M MOST FAMILIAR WITH AND BECAUSE THE ONES I PICKED COULD GET THE JOB DONE IN MY OPINION. IF I WAS GOING OFF FAVORITES IT WOULD'VE BEEN SPIDERMAN, BATMAN, DAREDEVIL, NIGHTWING, CANNONBALL, AND BLACK PANTHER...BUT THEY WOULDN'T HAVE LASTED VERY LONG
