  1. Re: One copy of 'Lands of Mystery' available at Noble Knight Games!

    Yes.

The original LOM was a masterpiece !!! It covered in fantastic detail all the texture and thrillis of a Lost Worlds campaign.

The cave women, the sabretooths, dueling dinosaurs, the exploding volcanoes.

Also every type of PC and NPC archetype for a Lost World.

I'm about to run a LW camapigh now and I would have paid a fortune for an updated version of this book.

Steve, is there no way that a new version can be produced ???

  2. Re: Post-Apoc Adventures

    Hi.

I've started posting the scenarios for my PA game on the http://www.aftermathrpg.com/ site under the forum/thread "General PA Disscussion/Scenarios"

Originally written for Plague World, I've made them as generic as possible so should fit in your idea of a PA.

Had good feedback on the second scenario - "The Invisible Death" and I feel it has a good PA feel.

3rd scenario "Warriors of the Wastelands" is in progress.

If u need more inspiration I would check out SM Stirlings "Dies the Fire" series.

  3. Hi

I was just wondering what was happening regarding the Pulp Hero Lands of Mystery supplement.

As I fan of the original LOM, I can't wait to see it brought back.

Nothing says Pulp to me more than a Lost Worlds adventure. Theres plenty of inspiration out there for the supplement - eg King Kong film, British TV series Primeval and SM Stirlings "The Sky People".

Its a great way to run a new campaign and introduce variety into an existing one.

PIs can strut their 2-fisted stuff vs savage cavemen, reporters can get the scoop on a dinosaur inhabited hidden land, scientist/inventors can study lost Lemurian artifacts or introduce gunpowder to a friendly tribe for defense.

    Got to be a winner.

  4. Re: Post Apoc Setting

    Hi Guys.

Good to see the love of PA gaming is alive and well here too. Being a long time PA fan (original Gamma World, no less), I'm looking forward to Post Apoc Hero.

I recently discovered a whole community of other gamers who love general PA on the http://www.aftermathrpg.com/ site. There's loads of useful links and info there.

I'll post a link on their website to this thread.

PA games are quite scarce at the moment and I think we PA gamers need to get together and show gaming companies that there is a market for good new material.

    Thanks for listening
