Block and Missle Deflection/Reflection

I was looking at the block maneuver and the missle deflection power...it says you can abort to block or missle deflect, but does this take up your next phase....and if you block more than once, would it affect your DCV as well as lowering your OCV...I see it as sweep blocking...so wouldnt it half your DCV?

 

And is there any limit to how many you can block or deflect?

Aborting to Block or to Missile Deflect works like any other form of Aborting, allowing for the additional rules on the subject on 5ER 208 and 385. The rules for Blocking or Deflecting multiple attacks are on those same pages. The rules impose no absolute limit on the number of attacks that may be Blocked or Deflected, but given the way they work do impose a practical limit.
