Re: Firefly
There's a d20-friendly deckplan of Serenity which is easily found via Google. There's also a hard-core accurate version of Serenity which can be found on fireflyfans.net (go to Blue Sun Room, Graphics, look for stuff by gaidheal).I've pretty much talked myself into running Firefly HERO next Gen Con, so I'm going to be writing up the characters and will probably post them here for comment.
Takes a lot of scrolling to find the deck plans, so here's some links :

Re: Nightwind?
Well, I'll soon see for myself - I've just ordered Millenium city. I kinda got the feeling that he's capable of handing Darkduck his butt! Question is, how does he compare to everyones favourite Seeker?
-
Re: Nightwind?
I thought so - it's the one book I don't have. Which will be remedied shortly.
Thanks

Hey guys
Perusing the Yengtao thread has led me to wonder what sort of stats Nightwind has - I imagine he's a pretty kick-ass MA. Where can I find his write up?
Thanks

""Catapult: 1 Mactaggart Scott C – 3 steam powered 8.5 degree launch""
Just picture it! Now your flying characters can really zoom off in a hurry!
Wonder how far it could throw Grond, Ripper and other CU heavies....

I havent really worked out Bullet Time yet. Im thinking it can easily be achieved with both Extra Actions for the most part, with a beefed up Dodge Action added to replicate the Rooftop Bullet Dodge scene.
end Quote.
Having watched the recent Matrix2 trailers I spent a lot of time thinking about how to emulate Bullet time in Hero.
I came to this conclusion:
Bullet-time is not a power
Bullet-time in a Special Effect
All bullet time is, is us the viewer watching someone with high Dex/Spd/CSL make all the right moves. To try and build it as a power could lead to nothing more than a Dex/Spd/CSL race between your players.
Might I suggest that you encourage your players to think of specific bullet time moments on the fly, with the added bonus of extra EXP for particularly impressive or distinctive moves.
After all, in the Matrix and CTHD, not every fight scene was maxed up, only the important ones.
My two pennies worth.

I read somewhere that there was a huge rise in the population of Elvis impersonators in the 90's; if that increase continued at that rate and unchecked, then by something like 2015 the entire population of the world would be Elvis impersonators.
Can't wait to get the shades and rhinestone suit.........
"Thank you verry muuuch..."

shopping.....
Yo dude!
When you get to London, try
here:http://www.leisuregames.com/
its where I get all my stuff. I find it quite funny that I'm sat here 5 - 6000 miles from the USA yet have had no problem getting hold of Hero books, and on these boards people all over the US seem to be complaining that they can't find Hero stuff anywhere!
Good Luck

Re: Creating a prophecy
The name Albion is a romantised name for Britain, 700 years ago it was just plain old England. 1306 is sorta Braveheart time in northern england/scotland, to put it in perspective.
Gaul as far as I know was the Roman name for wetern Europe, back in old 1306 it was just plain old France, albeit with ducal provinces - Noramndy, Brittany, Picardy etc.
Sorry to be picky and all.
