Hello all, I am new around here and I am a bit confused. I would love to get a taste of the hero system, however I am not sure what to buy. I want to get the Basic book, but that only contains rules, no fluff right? What if I Buy Champions of Fantasy Heroes? Are these books good to go as they are or do I still require the basic or advanced ruleset in addition? Thank you for your help!
