I have been watching the boards for about 6 months now, but this is my first post. I am getting ready to play Fantasy Hero, but I am running into some problems understanding some of the nuances of the system.
My current dilemma centers around Two-Weapon Fighting and the Sweep manuever. I don't understand why anyone would want to spend 10 points for Two-Weapon Fighting, when you can use the sweep manuever anyway. You can't use Two-Weapon Fighting if you don't use a sweep, if I am reading correctly, so you are getting what appears to be 19 points worth of powers for 10 points. The problem is that I can use a two-handed sword to do a sweep, which would not require buying the ambidexterity bit and then spend 10 points on two 5-point combat levels that would be more effective than the Two-Weapon Fighting.
Does this make sense or is my logic/interpretation incorrect? Thanks in advance for any help.
