  1. Re: Freezing the Time When i tried to construct the power i saw (<- is that right? i am german) that EDM is not the solution. A teleport could do the trick. I asked my player what he wanted to do, and i am still waiting for an answer - he will probably give it on friday. (EDIT: Thanks ghost-angel) the EDM solution works just like the teleport - it transfers you from one point to another. if you would want to or do things you would need to cast it for every single thing you want to change and all the way through. so actually Walking in a Dimension where time is frozen is not possible because you would be frozen too. Every single change in space would cause the player to cast another EDM,... to a dim where time is frozen and things are like they were + a little change. The char would be out of end before moving a single mm. if the char only moves to a destined point, then he is better of using teleport,... I forgot what i wanted to say,... well anyway.

And no solid object can be moved - since F =m*a = 2mx/t² lim t->0 => F-> infinite. Close to the character this does not count because of his time bubble. Good thing, thanks. EDIT: Or i'll tke that 7.5 million Character Points Version - its our powerlevel anyway
  3. A Player of mine asked for the Power to freeze the time so he could act. I thought about buying 1 point of SPD with maximum Invisible Power Effects. Is this enough to reflect what the power should be? I am doubting it a little, because he could attack, and the defenders wouldnt be able to block it.

  6. I would like to hear your Opinion on this: A Character altitude 25", Noncombatvelocity of 40" (SPD 2), does not suspect an attack. Archer shoots at the Character, OCV 7, RSL 2, Medium Bow. Modifieers: Suprised 1/2 DCV, Range (25"-32") -6, RSL +2 Velo-Based-DCV- Table, 80" -> DCV 5. Noncombat-DCV -> (9/2) If the character stands still, he would be easieer to hit than moving. Should he gain a bonus to his DCV, since he moves? Does the Character have DCV 5 because of his noncombat DCV, an other DCV because of a half velo bonus, or 10 because you would add the two together? Thoughts, Feelings, Opinions - anyone?
