I'm actually considering switching from GURPS for more unrealistic genres. In GURPS ST is grossly OVER priced at supers levels, which is probably why I noticed this. But then, in realistic fantasy, lifting and encumberance is a much bigger deal than in supers. I guess its really impossible to price things for every genre. I'll just double the price for swords and sorcery, as others said. You guys have a good board here.

Hi. I just bought the big book and I know very little. Looks like it does quite a bit for me, though. One basic question: I'm sure this has been asked before, but why is Strength priced the same as energy blast for +1d6? Doesn't Strength do A LOT more? Are there rules I am missing that balance this?
