  1. Wow. Thanks you guys are really helpful. Sorry about my character post. It looked good before I hit submit, and then it turned to spaghetti. I have no idea how Ndreare decoded it, but kudos to him. I see Luvius's point about this vampire being too weak (as a vampire) given 200 points. Maybe I set my sights too high, and should think lower (Frankenstein?). Great combat and complications explanations! I thank you all for the work. Let me do some thinking, and come back.
  2. I don't see any other character builds, so I hope I am in the right forum. I am totally new to the system. This is my first attempt at playing, and I am looking forward to it. I hope I can get some of you to look over what I made, and make suggestions. I was reading the rules, and was planning on making some kind of a ninja character, maybe a Subzero from Mortal Combat. Then I got to the Life Support section, and knew I had to make a vampire! 200 points: Val Char Base Cost Pts. 25 STR 10 1 15 20 DEX 10 2 20 15 CON 10 1 5 10 INT 10 1 0 10 EGO 10 1 0 20 PRE 10 1 10 8 OCV 3 5 25 7 DCV 3 5 20 1 OMCV 3 3 -6 8 DMCV 3 3 15 4 SPD 2 10 20 8 PD 2 1 6 4 ED 2 1 2 5 REC 4 1 1 50 END 20 1/5 6 20 BODY 10 1 10 50 STUN 20 0.5 15 Total Characteristics Cost: 164 Cost Name skills 3 Lockpicking 3 Stealth 3 Charm Cost Name Power/ Equipment 20 Life Support No Age, sleep, breathing, drink blood 1/year 1 Flight 1m Flight is to slowly levitate up to people's windows, lockpick them, and drink their blood! From what I understand a str of 25 gives me 5d6 damage. I want to raise that to 8d6, but do not understand the hth or martial arts rules at all. I have 6 points to spend doing this. Is this enough? I don't understand how to "punch" and if the recovery is enough to be able to punch every round. Did I mess up the character, and are there obvious mistakes? Should I carry a gun (or throwing knives) for ranged combat? I'd love him to heal by drinking blood, but don't think I have to points, or what that would cost. I also have to take 50 points of complications. I figure there should be some kind of sun alergy, but not a crippling one. I figure he'd have to cover up and such, and have minuses at ranged combat in the sun. Maybe he can't go onto consecraed grounds (like churches) He should also sponser an orphanage if I need to spend more points. Would the above cover the 50 points? Any thoughts or help would be appreciated.
