The description of Shove in Ultimate Martial Artist (p. 149) says that "For every 10 STR in the Shove maneuver, a character can push a target back 1"; thus, at even its lowest level a Shove moves its target back 2"."

I'm not entirely sure what "STR in the Shove maneuver" means. Is it

a) the STR bonus given by the maneuver (+15 for the Shove in the table on p. 9),

the sum of that and the character's STR (plus any other applicable bonuses), or

c) something I haven't thought of?

For example: A character with STR 20 successfully uses the Shove from the table on p. 9. Does he push his opponent 2" (1" for the basic effect of Shove plus 1" for the +15 STR in the maneuver) or 4" (1" as above plus 3" for his STR 20 plus the 15 STR from the maneuver)?

I'm completely clear on the 1"/2" thing. It's that the Glue Grenade reduces the BODY by 1d6 each time you reduce it, while the FAQ says to reduce it by one point each time. Which is correct?

The rules FAQ and the Glue Grenade example contradict each other.

The Glue Grenade Mk. II loses 1d6 BODY and 1 DEF per 2", while the FAQ says this should be 1 BODY/1 DEF per 2" or 1".

I looked for this in the FAQ and errata and searched the forums but couldn't find anything on it.

In the Glue Grenade Mk. II example for Explosion on p. 168, the Explosion advantage is set to +3/4 for -1d6 per 2". Shouldn't this be the default (for a +1/2 Explosion advantage), since Entangle costs 10 points per 1d6, meaning each 1d6 is two DCs?

Please see DH#3 for The Effectiveness Rating. This is a 12 years playtested system that has evolved to rate and control campaigns in numerous states and with extremely varying power levels. It has yet to fail!

Since starting that discussion over at Pyramid (yep, that was me) I've found the ER spread sheet over here, but it's rather, er, cryptic, in parts. Is there a description on how to use it available?
