I'm thinking about running a Mega Man ZX based game, with maybe a few elements of the Metroid games. I just recently got Hero 5ER, Star Hero and Ninja Hero, and so far I like everything I've seen. But I had a question concerning the "Biometals" from ZX I was hoping someone could help me with.
The "Biometals" are artifacts that basically contain the souls of Mega Man X, Zero, etc., and let a normal human transform into those warriors of the past. They also can guide or communicate with their host, while in human form. This is the part I'm not sure about... the other powers I can create just fine. But what would you people suggest for modeling the disembodied consciousness of the Biometal "souls?" It's basically an intelligence with certain memories of the past, and can spur the host on to pursue justice and things like that.
