I wanted to try and build a character similar to the D&D arcane archer but not sure how to build everything.
To limit his power the idea I had was he couldn't just cast from any arrow, he had to use already pre made Imbued Arrows.
This is some examples I have put together so far
Imbue Arrow - Minor Transform - Arrow into Imbued Arrow - Healed back by removing inscriptions - 1d6 (Set effect 3 points to make it easy)
Reduced Endurance, Charges (3), Focus (OAF Arrows Easy to Obtain), Focus (OAF Magical Paint Difficult to Obtain), Gestures (Throughout), No Range, Requires a Skill Roll, Extra Time (1 Hour), Concentration (0 DCV Throughout)
15 Active Points / 1 Real Cost
(In effect this would create 3 Imbued Arrows taking 1 hour to create) I went with set effect just because it seemed easier, though not really required.)
--------------------
Flame Arrow - RKA 1d6 - This spell basically adds an additional 1d6 Fire KA to your Imbued arrow
Seeker Arrow - Minor Transform 1d6 - Imbued Arrow into Imbued Arrow with Advantage (Indirect - Defined Origin (Caster), Fires in Any Direction)
(This spell I need help with, I don't really know how to do it correctly, I guess another way the power could be done is to just add PSL? Bonus to OCV (Only vs Cover Bonus)
Standard Adds/Limits
Incantations
Spell
Requires a Skill Roll,
Focus (Imbued Arrow- Expendable - Easy to Obtain)
No Range
Any additional Advant/ Limits that should apply to the powers? I am trying to find ways to make my powers more affordable, Concentration and Gestures I didn't think apply since using a bow already requires this.
The other way I could do this would be to make the arrows like you would potions. Instead of creating Imbued Arrows, Each Arrow Power would require me to spend time preparing it ahead of time.
I like the idea of being able to choose which Power to add to the arrow when you fire it instead of having to prepare each one ahead of time, so I don't get stuck with a backpack full of Flaming arrows I cannot use because I am fighting a Fire Elemental or something,
