I've recently got the 5th edition Hero System Core Rules and Champions book and am hoping I can get into a play by post campaign. Are there any open ones about? I'm particularly interested in a galactic/alien/space etc. or horror setting for champions.

I'm interested in giving champions a try. I've got my core rulebooks, as well as a few others, and am looking for a champions game. I might be playing an alien character, but am unsure of the powers I will choose. I would like to add that on Monday (I think), Tuesday, and Thursday, a friend of mine goes to his everquest 2 raids (this is going on until he gets his new computer and I keep his, which won't be too far in the future). I prefer homebrew campaigns, rather than already published adventures. Using maps and such from published adventures is okay though. I have one suggestion... We should set it on an alien planet, many millions/billions of light years away from earth. That way, we can come up with our own stuff. Heroes can be from earth under certain circumstances (such as receiving messages from across the galaxy to help the alien race (and somehow teleporting to it) that resides on the planet. Edit: I have a Warhammer 40k: Dark Heresy RP game on friday so cancel that day.

What realtime (or almost realtime) ways are there to play champions via the internet? I got into a D&D play by post and it's SLOW, so I am kind of trying to find other ways to play champions, since nobody near me plays it from what I understand.
