Re: Santa Claus Santa the Super villain For a different take on Santa Claus I present Claus Degraf (I might not be remembering his last name correctly) from a humorous fantasy novel by Tom Holt Grail blazers. The plot involves a resurrected Arthurian knight trying to find the Holy Grail and battling the queen of Atlantis (who is Claus’s Ex-wife) and Santa Claus. Anyway Claus is a Former god (who lost his divine status when he lost his followers.) who became a philosopher in the Middle East. He became known as a Wiseman, and he and three of his buddies became known as the four Wise men, but one day after a bright star appeared in the sky, which the other wise guys insisted didn’t mean anything he became a victim of both a joke from his three buddies and heaven. Claus followed the other three to a manger not knowing why they were going there. But lo in the manger the messiah had been born. And the other wise men gave the child precious gifts Claus was mortified as he had nothing but his laundry and when it was his turn he offered the Christ child a pair of stockings. He glared at the three wise men who were trying not to break out laughing. After this he received a visit from an angel who returned the stockings to him and informed him from this time on he must deliver presents on the day that mankind celebrates the birth of the savior. So now Claus is cursed to fly around the world on Christmas time and bring presents to the good children of the world while trying to find a way to break Heaven’s Curse. Claus is angry and hates being Santa.

Re: Super Agent Campaign idea Thanks for the feedback question man the links were helpful. and I am planning to get the agency sourcebooks. but I am not familiar with spycraft or Stargate hero were can I find info on them?

Re: Super Agent Campaign idea The Original Heroes are semi-retired and are referred too as the council of Elders, and the organization evolved from a Super hero team to a standered agency so the founders began to train regular agents to handle super humans. The Agency has had super Hero Agents in the past as part of their vanguard Project, but currently has none. There are super heroes as well as super villians and one function of the Bureau is to investigate them even if they are heroes, Basicly if a super human is suspected of illegal activity the agents would be called in.

This is a Campaign idea I thought I would share. The basic premise is super heroes first appeared in 1939 and at first the populace was grateful for their super powered guardians but after World War 2 ended the people began to feel uneasy about super humans. By 1949 most heroes had retired to settle down and raise families. But some heroes continued to fight. A group of heroes were approached by a man who introduced himself as Agent X; He suggested forming a covert team, and so the Bureau was created. The heroes were trained in covert operations and the organization grew until it became the premiere agency for dealing with paranormal crime. The Bureau is now affiliated with the justice department and deals with paranormal crime, technology and phenomenon. And while the founders were Super Heroes the current agents are merely skilled humans armed with high tech gadgets adapted from super hero weapons (lets face it super heroes had Jetpacks, ray guns, bullet proof cloth and invisibility devices back in the forties). The PCs are Agents just out of the academy and have been scouted for an elite group that is just forming.
