Stanley Teriaca
Comments always welcomed. I'll probably give him an environmental movement skill or two. Definitely the one for movement across ice.
Stanley Teriaca
I have done my writeups much like how the Big Blue Book use to do things, as the total points being 'Based Points + Complication Points". This isn't how things are done currently. You can do any one of these things. 1) Assume that each villain had enough experience to earn 75 experience points before they began. 2) Reduce the points of each writeup by 75 points so they are "6 edition compilant". 3) Feel free to rebuild the writeup in a way which works for you. Your probably going to do this anyway. I legally give you permission to do so.
Stanley Teriaca
Background/Origin: Ike Sickle was a professional criminal who always loved the winter season. He was also a student of fencing, but not exactly good at it. One winter crime he got shot on a crime scene and was founded by a criminal scientist who was just happing by. He decided to nurse Ike back to health. The scientist was inspired by the man and made for him the Winterblade, a ice and cold generator "gun" houses inside a sword. Ike practice with it and when he was better he resumed his crimes under the identity of Winterblade, calling himself after his weapon. Quote: Keep your cool and I won't have to bury your body under six feet of ice and snow. Personality/Motivation : Ike's big thing is to get a lot of money and then retire in a place which it snows for most of the year. He is arrogant, especially when commiting crimes and fencing (but not overconfident...he is no fool). He would rather run then surender. He has a strong dislike for speedster types. He got caught a few times before he gained his sword, and dislike being caught via someone so fast. Powers/Tactics : Ike wields his weapon the Winterblade which he is named after, a power backpack which powers the sword, and his parka costume with a built in heating and cooling devices. Ike actually likes using the projector more than using the sword, so he can usually start out at range. He will usually entangle his victim in ice first, and use the snow blasts if he needs to. He can also create solid walls of ice and snow, useful to put distance between himself and the law. He will use the shards of ice as an attack of last resort, as he knows that heros look badly upon villains who kill. Advancement : He could either learn more fencing stuff, or add some new snow and ice attacks to his projector. Like turning any liquid into solids when frozen (Transformation), dropping huge snow boulders from thin air (indirect area of effect blast), among other things. You could also give him ice skates which will help with his movements. Or maybe a few other ice and snow based equipment. Appearance : Ike Sickle is a pale skinny man with blonde hair, ice blue eyes, and an athlete's body. As Winterblade he wears a huge blue parka like jacket and snow pants, a metallic backpack, and his sword. A cable attaches between the backpack and sword (which is why it is an OIF instead of a OAF). Stanley Teriaca
In case you need to tie Winterblade in with the Champions Universe: The device was easily created by Waylen Tallos, the elderly weapons creator to the supervillain world. He can easily be a VIPER hireling (and as long as he his working for VIPER he is a member of the Dragon Branch, because that is how that works. He could also have a grudge against Kinetic. He didn't start out with the grudge, but since I did loosely based him off of Captain Cold, well...
