JamesDJIII
I'm sure this has been asked before, but here goes: I'm wondering if there is a way to spceify that a power (or spell, or magic item, etc) can be constructed so that it's powers that cost Endurance can be "scaled" by more or less END being spent. For example, let's say I have an item that provides X PD of armor and Costs Endurance. What would I do to allow a user to say, pay a certain amount of END to get one level of PD one segment, then increase or decrease th rate of END expendiure the next to increase or decrease the PD provided. Monolith
If you were to buy Force Field with a x5 END Limitation you would get one that has 1 PD/ED Force Field for 1 END. That way each +/-1 would cost or save you 1 END. You could do the same thing with Armor, but once you take the Costs END Limitation on Armor it becomes the same as Force Field, so you might as well just start with the FF. Intrope
Sure. Just buy the power in pieces (a compound power), with different END multiples. I'll use Force Field for this example: Incremental Shield: (Total: 50 Active Cost, 29 Real Cost) FF (5 PD/5 ED) (Real Cost: 10) plus FF (5 PD/5 ED) (10 Active Points); Increased Endurance Cost (x2 END; -1/2) (Real Cost: 7) plus FF (5 PD/5 ED) (10 Active Points); Increased Endurance Cost (x3 END; -1) (Real Cost: 5) plus FF (5 PD/5 ED) (10 Active Points); Increased Endurance Cost (x4 END; -1 1/2) (Real Cost: 4) plus FF (5 PD/5 ED) (10 Active Points); Increased Endurance Cost (x5 END; -2) (Real Cost: 3) With this, you can get up to +25rPD/+25rED, but you'd pay 15 END per phase. This works for most anything.
