END cost for HTH attack

Does a standard HTH attack have an END cost? I'm trying to find the answer in the book but once again can't find a definitive answer. The reason I ask this is because I notice when using Hero Designer that there is a number next to END on the STR line (it reads HTH attack xd6; END [2] or something like that). Thanks Steve.

If you mean the damage characters can cause with their raw STR, yes, it costs END, as stated (in various ways) on 5E 20, 24, and 286. However, it should be clearer on 5E 20; I'll have to see about doing that at the appropriate time.

 

If you mean the Power Hand-To-Hand Attack, yes, it costs END, as stated on 5E 87, 119.
