Am I doing this right?

Question

I want a damage shield with charges that last one full turn. Is it: +3/4 damage shield but -1/2 4 charges that each last one turn? Rules say I can only use continuing charges with constant or persistant powers. But I don't think they had this sort of thing in mind.

Any thoughts appreciated.

Thanks

The rules definitely had that sort of thing in mind. Here's what you're looking for, as an example:

RKA 1d6

Continuous (+1)

Damage Shield (+3/4 version)

= 41 Active Points

4 Continuing Charges lasting 1 Turn each (-1/2)

= 27 Real Points

As noted under Continuing Charges, the power has to be Constant or Persistent, and applying Continuous (+1) makes the power qualify. ;)
