Autofire Damage calculation

If an agent fires a blaster with autofire at a character who has a force field, what happens if the first damage roll stunns the character? Does his field protect him from the second and third shots? Couldn't find the answer in FReD. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place.

Per 5E 273, a Stunned character's non-Persistent abilities stop functioning at the end of the Segment. Since an Autofire attack takes place before then, he'd still have the defenses provided by a Force Field or the like.
