It was an experiment of sorts ... my players designed the 'people', their background and all that. However, with their consent, I picked out and designed the character's powers, and they began the game with no knowledge of the abilities they would gain. For my part, I also had to clue them in as best I could during the crash on their developing power, which was the hard part. I was impressed, really, by their RPing ... good displays of fear during the vehicular crash/impending explosion, fear and shock and more than a little denial at the gaining of superpowers, concern, everything. The quote of the night, by me, as nominated by the players ... "Dr. Silverback picks up a random ... bowling trophy." (which he swung at the head of the person with the Luck powers) Other good lines included ... "I was helping people get off." Pause. "The bus." PC calls Homestead. "Thank you for calling Homestead, Headquarters of the Champions, how may I direct your call?" "Freaky stuff has been happening!" "That's every division, can you be more specific?" "Okay, why am I flying?!" "Because you're not falling." The guy with the water powers douses a fire, but his pose indicates eyes are closed. "You hear the sound of rushing water --" "Sorry, guys, I got scared." "Courage ... draining down ... pant leg!" Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Granted this will be my first time playing in the HS and GMing in it so, it could be interesting. My plan is going to combine champs and Teenagers from Outer Space. It should be fun. I have a few people looking forward to this game, but now I just have to make it through the D20 Rokugan that everyone wants me to run first.
