ProfessorM@ss
This is almost hideously cool. http://www.mts.net/~arphaxad/history.html It's a collection of timelines for histories that never existed! Comic books...novels...anything fictional. It's utterly amazing, and can truly be a source of inspiration for anybody writing a campaign. --->M@ss
BishopofB&W
The Wold-Newton Universe I discovered this about two years ago. It has all kinds of ideas on how to insert famous literary characters in your campaign timeline. If you ever wanted a character who has Sherlock Holmes, James Bond, and Fu Manchu in his family tree, this site can show you how! This site also has a low-powered comic-bookish premise for why all these characters have heroic-level stats. Check out The Secret History of The Wold-Newton Universe to see ideas for incorporating comic book, movie, and TV show plots into your campaign.
