Question regarding Adjustment Powers

Suppose that The Amazing Adjusting Man has an Adjustment power that simultaneously affects any two defensive powers of his target. He uses this power against the Monstersaurus, who took the "Giant Monster" power construct from the 5th ER rules (PD & ED Damage Reduction). Can Adjusting Man treat PD Damage Reduction and ED Damage Reduction as two separate powers (even though they were bought under the same name with the same special effect for a single point total) and boost each one by the total of the Adjustment dice; or do the effects of the Adjustment power get split, with half going to PD and half going to ED?

That’s up to the GM based on special effects, the nature of the power, and such, but I’d say that generall Physical Damage Reduction and Energy Damage Reduction, even if bought “together” for purposes of keeping the character sheet from getting cluttered, should be considered separate Powers for purposes of Adjustment Powers. This is particularly appropriate when one part of the overall “power” has different Power Modifiers than the other.
