Hierax
What do you think the value of a Limitation that Costs Long Term ENDurance (LTE) would be? i.e., How much more should "Costs LTE" be than regular old "Costs END"? Thanks!
Outsider
Re: Value of: Costs Long Term ENDurance (LTE)? I'd base it on Side Effect. Say you're using it on a 60 point power. This will cost 6 END, which is 3 points of END. That's the equivalent about 1d6 of Drain, which 10 points. But this drain recovers per 5 hours (about), which is 5 steps on the time chart, or a +1 1/4 Advantage. Now this is a 22.5 point effect. So, that's about a -1/2 Side Effect (close enough). Which automatically occurs when the power is used (2x value) making it a -1 Limitation. But also has a predefined amount of damage (1/4 less limitation) making it about -3/4. If the power is constant and you have to pay LTE every phase, then it will be 1/4 greater limitation (equivalent to having to risk an activation roll (and SE) every phase) then the limitation is 1/4 greater again, or -1. In addition to taking END, as a limitation. So : "Takes END" = -1/2 "Takes LTE" = -3/4 on Instant Powers, to -1 on Constant ones. Taking Both = -1 1/4 Instant, -1 1/2 Constant.
