Notes: Cure is one of several extremists dedicated to the eradication of all Metahumans. It is rumored he has ties with HAAD. He uses a modified power armor designed by GBI along with inhibitor cuffs that negate some Metahuman abilities.

Background/History: Derrick’s abilities first manifested as a teen. The chemical makeup of his body produces lethally high levels of acid. Although he is immune to this corrosive Derrick cannot control its production. Already at odds with his parents Derrick’s powers manifested when he and his dad where fighting. The reaction seared two of his father’s fingers off and left third degree burns across his forearm. While still in shock Derrick ran. Not knowing what to do his parents turned to the Institute for Metahuman Research.

Due to the uncontrolled nature of his powers Derrick, who had begun using the pseudonym Bile was quickly captured. However, the Institute was unable to hold him for observation longer than fourteen hours. Since this time Bile has stayed on the move. Still young he has fought to learn to control his powers while at the same time embracing his Metahuman nature.

 

Personality/Motivation: Although, his powers seem to be innately destructive Derrick has show that he has a strange sense of right and wrong and is willing to stand up for it. Also, because of the nature of his abilities to date IMR has yet to make an attempt to reacquire Bile.

 

Appearance: Bile does not wear a costume or attempt to hide his identity. Most often he prefers thick denim and plain clothes that can be easily replaced.

So I noticed this new feature at the bottom of the thread for called similar threads. When I see it on the Character: Goth thread they have How Goth is Batman and Goth Henchmen so I wonder what is going to be similar to Bile? Apparently the Forum logic has a thing against fantasy since the only related thread is titled Elves. There's something warming about that.
