vanAdamme
Hey guys, just had a quick newbie-style question about mental defense and mental damage reduction. A good-guy character has 10 points of Mental Defense, 25% Mental Damage Reduction and 12 EGO. A bad-guy mind-controller beats his DECV and makes his Effect Roll, getting a 30. The good-guy then applies the Mental Defense first, reducing the 30 to a 20, then applies the Mental Damage Reduction reducing the 20 to a 15. This 15 is bigger than his EGO of 12, so something bad happens. Is that correct? Cheers, vanAdamme
jtelson
Re: Clarification on Mental Defense and Mental Damage Reduction Sounds like you have it right, assuming the Mind Controller is trying for an effect that's Greater than Ego without being Ego +10.
