Stretching and Extra Limbs

Hey Steve. Great stuff, sorry to ask but:

 

If a character has 10" stretching and 10 extra limbs and is surrounded by a circle 10 bad guys 4" away, is it legal for the character to half move each of his 10 limbs to get into hand to hand combat and sweep the bad guys?

 

In other words, is it possible to use stretching to move in multiple directions at once?

As discussed on 5ER 220, the number of inches of Stretching a character buys represents the total amount of Stretching he can use at once. Thus, if he has Stretching 10" and Stretches one of his arms 7", he can only Stretch the other arm (or his leg, or some other body part, etc.) 3".

 

A better way to do what you're describing might be to buy an Energy Blast, Area Of Effect (radius defined by the desired length of the character's arms), Personal Immunity, No Range -- the special effect being "I stretch out all my arms and hit everyone around me." Hope that helps!
