Working on a pair of villains to play off a Patriot hero and team. The team overall has a nice spread of powers so the pair are a bit beefy.

Background/History: No one is sure where War Eagle came from. As he fashions himself as a patriot and defender of America many believe he was a member of the military. First emerging in the 60’s War Eagle has dedicated himself to routing out anything he deems unpatriotic; this includes protesters, hippies, liberals, and most colleges (excluding of course the Citadel.)

A long time rival of Vietnam dissenter Moon Dog War Eagle sees no problem with harming civilians at rallies seeing them as collateral damage. Real Americans would never protest against the government anyway. To this point War Eagle has stated publically that he has support in DC and at the Pentagon and that they must shun him for his acts of patriotism due to the fascist media.

 

 

Appearance: War eagle wears a tight suit of red and white, the arms are blue with white stars while the cowl is a golden metallic shaped like an eagle’s head.

Background/History: Although it hasn’t been proven authorities suspect the Metahuman mercenary known as Ground Pounder was once a member of a small PMC out of Georgia. It is also believed that he is a natural Metahuman. Over the years he has displayed incredible strength, once capsizing a fishing vessel to provide a distraction on a botched coup in South Africa. Ground Pounder works for the highest bidder. Although he says he will not take a paycheck from any Soviet Bloc country or supporter.

 

 

Appearance: Ground Pounder wears simple jungle camo BDUs and a camouflaged face mask.

 

Please forgive any resemblance to Harvey Birdman Attorney at law I noticed that one after the fact.

In the timeline and backgrounds I've done for Metahumans Rising War Eagle has always worked alone. Pairing with Ground Pounder will be a recent turn of events.

 

As for Liberal versus Fascist I chose the latter to kind of drive home how far off War Eagle has gone pegging all media outlets as a kind of unified totalitarian master.

Presidential debate bump. I think I know how to introduce the pair into the campaign.

 

 

 

After a political debate or other weighty event War Eagle and Ground Pounder take a television station hostage to promote their views.
