torelin32
Hi guys, I have a questions and I need all your expert advice. I want to develop a power using desolid but I want it to be affected by the body or the defense of material or of a creature or person. So in esscense I want the person using the power to have to overcome the body or defense of the person they are going through. But I'm uncertain on how to write it up. Could you all give me some advice on this. I'm good at coming up with concepts but putting it down in game terms I really suck at. Thanks in advance. Derek Hiemforth
Re: Need Advice Can you clarify what you mean? Do you want to "overcome" the DEF and BODY via an attack of some kind? Or do you want the desolid character to move more slowly through high-DEF/BODY material than through low DEF/BODY material?
torelin32
Re: Need Advice Basically, I don't want it to be an attack, but they can move through an object/person/material based on their active points, but if they don't have enough AP they can't go through it. This sounds like a Limited Power limitation, something like "Can Only Pass Through Material Whose DEF <= AP/5" or some such. The value would probably only be -1/4 though, because not being able to pass through solid objects at all is only -1/2.
