felidaeus
Hello Everyone. To any of my players reading this: *SPOILERS AHEAD* I recently started DMing a champions game. It's a mutant school set up with the mutants in a Norm school. I'm doing updates on the Dark Champions forum, mostly because the game will be getting, and has gotten, dark pretty fast. http://www.herogames.com/forums/showthread.php/81463-Jefferson-High-School Anyway, I'm going to be using lots of government/secret agency/gang mooks and villains, as well as an eventual LARGE number of mutants. The campagin right now is determining secret/public ID, as well as letting the players "discover" their powers. The eventual plan is a railroad to 'mutant internment camps' for those with public ID. I'll be using the creation of Japanese Internment camps in Canada as my basis for the plot. I've already purchased the combat handbook and the main handbook, but want to get *a* primer for easy creation of mooks and mutant npcs. Does anyone have any recommendations on extra stuff for me to read online, as well as what book I should purchase. Thanks for your help! Hawknight
Re: Need Help With NPCs & Book Purchase Dark Champions has different types of mooks made up for you to use. Google x-men wikis for ideas for different mutant powers and levels. Teen Champions has a high school set up with different grades of students with powers. "Bad News for Dr. Drugs" from the 80's has a great high school location and some normal teen gang members. Totally useful for just about every type of game - 4 color, Dark Champions, even used it for a Cheerleader Witches Coven game once. Check Ebay. Good luck. It sounds like a fun undertaking.
