Prisons

I would go with a high security lock down. Normals would be in one wing. Non powered and weak supers in another. High powered in a third. Those with real powers wear a dampener. Bel Reve meets the Raft. Could even have a low powered roboguard with high str and invulnerability controlled by guards. Definitely sleep gas sprayers and Taser defenses in the prison.
2. When I started back in the day I won the lottery and invested in a 5 story building as a hq. Was a 20 pt power buy and added to it with ep to show stock market growth. Money was used to upgrade equipment and help in situations where funding was needed. It was a home brew rule that we tried not to exploit for game balance.
3. Let's not forget about Springfield (not the Simpsons but G.I.Joe) a small town with values run by the biggest terrorist organization in the world. Little league base ball, charity bake sales, no crime and everyone ready for Cobra Commander's call to arms. An agent family in every home with secret armories and garages throughout the town
4. I'm a Dark Champs fan, but any adventure could be used with a little rework
5. As a player and GM who liked Batman/Moon Knight/Daredevil type genres the Dark Champions line of 4th edition was the best. Even some of the problems (some editing) it made it easy to build a world of events to give my players months of play. Have not found any other materials that gave me as much to build on. When I start another game group, I will reuse/renew it all and do Earth2.
6. Re: Recommended Champions Adventures? I still run the intro adventures in the BBB (4th edition) mixed with the intros in first & second editions. Viper's Nest gets an easy hunted to your new players. And I've used most as a beginning Dark Champs arc.
7. Re: Storn's Art & Characters thread. I think the metal man is one of your best works but all 4 rock!
8. Re: Small Town Superhumans? DOH! Been so long I forgot where they were located. Geography not my KS:11-
9. Re: Small Town Superhumans? Hi welcome to Maine. Don't think about causing trouble because I'm Superior Larry and this is my brother Daryl and my other brother Daryl AKA Double Trouble.
10. Re: A Short Halloween Mini Adventure Set Up Nope. No game scheduled and I ran this a few years ago and thought I'd share it.
11. Happy Halloween! A few years ago I created a map using Dundjinni and artwork from the CSUAC site for Dark Champions. The map title was "The Vick Memorial Dogfighting Arena" and was used as a fill in with two dark champs who stopped the illegal fights and got some background on one of the Mexican gangs that led to some more adventures later on. Anyway, a Halloween or two ago I resurected the map for a game of supernatural crimefighting. I present it to you for your use with the bare bones of what I used for the game. PETA (or any animal protection agency you want to use) has learned of illegal dog fights being held by various street gangs. They have pleaded with a sorceress to stop the fights. The vigilantes have heard the same rumors and are on their way to put the gangs down. They show up just as the sorceress raises the dead animals and has them attack the gang members. Guess what - she doesn't care if the heroes are there to stop the gangs, she attacks them too. Free for all and no candy involved. I've attached the map I created plus a picture of the sorceress from Storns's thread (used without permission - please don't hurt me I did it with respect) I printed the map out and took it to a copy place to blow up to use with paper figures but I don't remember what size I ended up using. A shout of thanks to all the users of Dundjinni who helped me to make maps and their art plus the CSUAC site where a ton of the art is stored. One of the best investments I have made playing RPGS was Dundjinni.
12. Re: Master of Crime Check out Hudson City Blues for a computer that does almost what you're looking for.
13. Re: Master of Crime As an Ultimate Kingpin type of character, he will always be viable for DC. He also works as a "Jabba the Hut"/"Big Astrocorp Executive" in Star Hero. Easy to update and loads of fun to use.
14. Re: Map Pieces Don't forget to get the Armor Wars add on they made for Heroclix a number of years back. It has all kinds of robotic arms and mad scientist lab equiptment perfect for mapping Dr. Destroyer's summer cabin.
15. Re: Map Pieces I use Dundjinni. It is easy to use, has a Modern set of tiles to use along with a website with very active and helpful artists who have made me many items for maps that I don't have the skill to do my self.
