ashuramarsh
I have a question about something a player brought up. In the 6e book it has guidelines for character points, active points, dice of effect and so on. At the standard level, the effect is listed as 12-14 dice. The question comes from a character with a STR 60 and a hammer that does +5d6. 1). Is the active point limit a total for strength and a HTH attack power? So they can't total over that together? 2). Does the active point limit apply to each separately? Just curious as the 2nd question could lead to a STR 60 and wielding a tank bought as a HTH attack and buy it at 14DC, they would be doing around 26DC at full strength swings. Greywind
If the GM goes by the guideline and uses it as a cap in his game, then yes, the 60 STR and +5D6 hammer exceeds the guideline. If the cap is 12-14 and you're swinging with 17, then something is going to break somewhere.
