It's about the people who live around various unusual and/or extreme locations from Mount Everest to the Camargue, and how they interact with their environments. Apart from the spectacular scenery, every segment of the show I've seen so far suggested a cool Fantasy setting, culture, or scenario. It's also available through Comcast's On Demand service, and no doubt can be found somewhere on the Interwebs.
