I'm sorry if I didn't make this clear before, if so it's my fault:

 

A) I meant that Angels are "forces of nature" the same way that superhumans are "forces of nature". She is a force of nature. She is also one of the few among her kind who realizes that mortal mankind has now given rise to many of its own forces of nature.

 

B) This is for a superheroic campaign. The comparison to normals was for purposes of judging the stories of angels that we have to go on. For example, I think there's a story somewhere in the Old Testament about a man wrestling an angel to a standstill.

 

C) She's AN Angel of War, not THE Angel of War. She's not a leader, or a general. She's never been the soldier type -- a follower or a leader -- and her personality is out-of-archetype. That's a major root of her story. Her role has always been one of single combat. I'm sure a few of the other Angels call her, as you did, "The Angel of Murder."

 

D) She has to be able to pass as a normal person. She doesn't have a Secret ID, but not everyone recognizes her in everyday life. 30 PRE and 30 COM are kinda dead giveaways that you're not normal.

 

E) In her own words, "I do not sing."

Normally, Saviel appears to be a tall, athletic, and fairly attractive young woman, if a little pale. There's nothing that remarkable about her, until she uses her powers. Then, her true nature is unmistakable. When she is fully manifested, her eyes glow with green fire, her hair stirs in a wind no one else can feel, her hands crackle with energy, and it seems as if she is about to unleash all the powers of heaven and earth upon some unfortuate soul.
Her wings are more light than substance, and will pass through solid objects unhindered -- she only needs open space in order to fly. Her attacks manifest as eldritch, clinging flames. The Armor of The Stars appears momentarily when it is struck; ripples of light spread from the point of impact, and fade.

Personality: Saviel lives among humanity now, in self-imposed exile from the only existence she has ever known. Her need for mission and purpose drives her to be a hero. She is free to use her powers in ways she never could in her former life. Still, she is lonely sometimes, and feels isolated among the mortal population. There are a few here she considers comrades, maybe even friends, but her rather muted ability to express everyday emotion makes her seem more distant that she really is. Ironically, it is religion that seems to cause her the most grief. She cannot hide what she is, and believers of all sorts will come to her looking for guidance, blessings, or even vindication of their own petty notions. The established churches always seem to be prying. None of them seem to understand that what they believe could not begin to encompass the truth.

Background: There is magic in the soul of humanity. Their hopes and fears, their terrible and noble impulses, all have power. As with all her kin, Saviel is a force of nature, a concept personified, arisen whole cloth out of the cumulative power of human belief. She is an Angel of War. This War, however, has a conscience. Unlike the other Wars, the strongest parts of her are the battle to avenge a great wrong, the struggle in defense, and the fight to protect those who cannot protect themselves. As a creature of conscience and of fierce disposition, she always had a strained relationship with her kin, especially the other Angels of War, who were often less...choosey about their work. But none of them were prepared for the moment when everything changed. On a dirty battlefield in some forsaken corner of the world, it really doesn't matter where exactly, the Angel of Doom Beburoa had gone insane, or so the others now claim. Under his shadow, there were no sides in those dark days, just slaughter, and even the smallest child was not safe. Saviel raged in the heavens as the earth ran red with blood, and begged her kin to stop the carnage, until her rage overtook her, and she swept down upon up Beburoa with a fury and might that forever reaffirmed the title "Scourge of Heaven". For the first time in millenia, Angel slew Angel. Saviel was disgusted that it had come to such a thing, and so she simply walked away, and has not left the Earth since that day. She is convinced that her kin would condemn her for her actions that fateful day, and is utterly unwilling to accept that judgement. She does not know that most have already forgiven her. They believe that she is still in mourning, and so they leave her be.
Powers/Tactics: In a world without everyday coverage of superheroes and villains, the might of the typical Angel of War would be difficult for most to comprehend. Saviel is not the typical Angel of War. Even among her own cosmically-powerful kin, she is known as The Scourge of Heaven. There is little that can seriously harm her, and little that can long resist her wrath. She is a force of nature. She is also one of the few among her kind who realizes that mortal mankind has now given rise to many of its own forces of nature. While the average superhuman stands little chance against her, she never takes this for granted. As an embodiment of war, she relies on no single tactic, and is very difficult to fool in combat. Only another Angel may kill her; against any other foe, she will keep coming back again and again until she finds a way to win.
