  1. I need ot be sure I understand this properly, since it just came up during char-gen. Speed affects which Phases, and How many, you may act in. Movement (for example, 12m running) is not modified by speed in any way - like, buying speed 4 doesn't make your movement go up from 12 to 16m right? What speed does is let you move those 12m each phase you may act - so a speed 2 character can RUN (full move both phases) 24m, where a speed 4 character can RUN (full move all 4 phases) 48m, and likewise a speed 2 can move 6m and attack in phase 6, then move 6m and attack again n phase 12, (for 12m total movement) and a speed 4 character can move 6m, and attack in each of their 4 phases, if they like, for total of 24m of movement? So speed *does* allow you to move farther than a slower speed character, but not by changing the actual listed meters of movement, right? Sorry if this is a dumb question....
  2. Re: 6th Edition Character Sheet Inspired by Teh Bunneh, I decided to try to make a "generic" sheet that worked like his gorgeous ones, but could be filled in at the table - In my mind, I'd use the official sheet or some scratch paper for the calculations, and to record 100% of everything, but this sheet wouldallow a player to have everything at-a-glance (like bunneh) and to draw themselves in! (assuming fairly standard human drawings, of course!) It's not "polished" yet, as I decided I'd like some feedback from everyone here before I tried to finalize it, only to discover that I've left out something super-important, and then I have t wreck everything to fit in the stuff I forgot. My design goals were: a) to emulate teh Bunneh's gorgeous sheets to make something novice players could easily read and grasp the meaning of c) to include a customizable figure sketch that would work for most concepts. So please, what changes would you make?
  3. Re: Simplifying the Math I'm not so worried about roll-hihg/versus roll low, I was really curious if pre-adding the 11 to the OCV would have any drawbacks I hadn't forseen - and it looks like I'll also need a pre-added 1/2 OCV + 11 field as well. That's easy enough, and I wouldn't have caught that on my own!
  4. Is there any reason why the OCV part of the character sheet couldn't be written like: ____ = 11+ ____ Total Base Example: OCV: 15 = 11 + 4 So the PCs just subtract the 3d6 Roll from the Total, but they buy the base? Obviously, they's still add in their Skill Levels and such, but my players are used to d20 system games, and after begging them to switch to Champions/Hero system (because I don't like Mutants and Masterminds) I find they are having a hard time remembering to add the +11, since D20 character sheets calculate everything out. Actually, I'm thinking of "d20-fying" the character sheet in a lot of ways, but wondered if there was maybe some over-arcing reason why this wasn't common.
